Flame2710 Posted January 28, 2022 Report Share Posted January 28, 2022 Daughter has a 2013 Edge with a 3.5L with 115K miles. Attends University. Recently she tried to start it up but it would not start or crank. Lights will light up but will not crank and gives a "Starting System Fault" code on dash. Figured it had a dead battery cell so replaced battery. Worked for a while and did same thing. Took to Ford Dealership and they replaced the Transceiver in the steering column as well as a new key fob. Worked for a week or two and started happening again. Took back to the dealership but they don't have a clue what it is. Will not start one day, the next time it will start right up. Seems like 1 out of 10 times she tries to start it we have this issue. enigma-2 Posted January 29, 2022 Report Share Posted January 29, 2022 Does she have a cordless charger hooked up in the car? Known to cause this issue.
