Marshall Strom Posted September 13, 2022 Report Share Posted September 13, 2022 Hello All, 2014 Edge 3.5L 130,000 ish miles. Would some one on here be able to help me with this issues? When the car sits long enough there will be a knock or loud metal rattle for a split second when the car starts up. I've read that 0W-20 oil and a OEM oil filter may help but that honestly seems like something that Too good to be true, Any suggestions that you can give me would be much appreciated. Its new/clean oil, the noise is not present all the time just when the car sits a while and only lasts a second at start up, ill try get a video soon if that would help Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
