Wetdream Posted February 27 Report Share Posted February 27 Hi All, I have a 2011 AWD Ford Edge Limited and been wanting to strip all the chrome... my Edge is that metallic black but looking at getting regular high gloss black. How were those little long decorative dimples on front grill to apply the vinyl to? Does heat from a hair dryer allow it to be applied ok? How long does it last? Any issues with road rocks being kicked up? My Wife is very artsy craftsy and offered to help cuz I just dont have the patience lol... Any other tips?? Im looking at brands and at least want to get on amazon... not trying to pay $200 from this one name brand I saw but dont wanna get crap either. The biggest issue will be measuring it all out and making sure I get stuff that is good quality AND long enough for the long sections lol. I think at least 1' x 15' might suffice for all of it.
