AC Compressor too close to frame rail on timing cover removal 2012 Edge 3.5

AC compressor is too close to the frame rail to get to the one bolt above the crank. I need to move the engine towards the firewall a couple inches to clear. I've followed the instructions from the workshop manual to a "T" but i'm stumped. I've seen people do it with the compressor installed, so I know it's possible.

I just need to know a tip to move the engine a few inches towards the firewall to clear it.

Thanks in advance.

I just looked over my steps and I know what did or rather skipped.

Skipped over the block heater notes and also mistakenly forgot to loosen the ROLL RESTRICTOR BOLTS......

Back on track, sort of......got to cut an exhaust stud and hopefully it ends at one. Then I should be on easy street to get the engine lowered and install the water pump, chains, etc.

Got to love "old" stuff.

Final correct answer, remove the passenger side axle and disconnect the intermediate shaft from the bracket.

Engine will lower and allow access to the bolt above the harmonic balancer.

I don't think anyone works on this forum.
