danloch Posted 1 hour ago Report Share Posted 1 hour ago Hi. 2008 limited fwd 132,000 miles. I started to hear a whirring pump sound from the back passenger side of my vehicle. Never noticed until a few months ago. It happens if the car has sat for a couple of days. If I get in and touch the brake pedal without starting the car it begins. If I keep foot on pedal it continues for around 5 seconds. If I take my foot off pedal it stops. I replaced the fuel pump but the noise continues. No symptoms but a mystery. Anyone have any idea?
