BlazedUp Posted September 30, 2009 Report Share Posted September 30, 2009 We have been having the issue of the easy exit/entry featuring working on and off since we bought the Edge. Sometimes it would not move forward when placing key in ignition and sometimes not move back when removing key. Everytime we had it in for service, techs were "unable to duplicate issue" Had it in for 22,500 multi-point and the seat was acting up. They replaced the drivers seat module and/or the control unit. Part # 8G1Z*14C708*B Time will tell if the fix is permanent. I was happier than a pig in shit that something was actually done by the dealer to repair the issue, as this has been a problem since the car was new. I know many people have reported this issue with no luck at the dealer for a repair. Keeping fingers crossed that this will solve the issue once and for all.
