NoHip
Hello. New to the board. I have begun to notice an odor coming from my Edge. It has a natural gas quality to it. It really comes through in the car when I have the climate on. When climate is off, it's okay. When I walked around the car today, it seemed to be coming from the front. Any ideas on what it could be? I know nothing about cars so any help would be great.

bac2010
My 2011 Edge also had a funny burnt smell coming from the front end. Brought it in (fearing dreaded PTU problem) and dealer found stickers burning off. After a few thousand miles, it went away. Hopefully you have the same minor issue. igcitng
Thanks you igcitng. How do I see this? What did you do? You can't really see it, the oil that drips out burns off right away on the exhaust so you likely won't see anything in the driveway or garage floor. I took it to the dealer told them I felt it was a PTU leak and they checked it. It was and they replaced the seals.
