So got the new 2011 Edge Sport Tail lights finally installed . Also the new trim for above the license plate also from a 2011 so i can mount my camera like the factory camera.

I had the trim panel painted to match . Also moved the tailgate release switch from above the plate to the right of the plate.

I cant understand how they developed this vehicle in the first place with red turn signals, looks good.

Can you tell me how you separated the brake and turn feed that comes from a single wire?

I know I could take the brake feed from the centre brake but what about the turn signal and affects to bulb failure warning system?

Got my tails in.. Installed... For now I simpply hooked them up the same way as the old tails I used the brake/turn together.. Not using the separate turn signal in the new tails. I will work that out this weekend. Just couldn't wait to get them in a hooked up for now. I do have a small problem with turn signals. R side will blink fast and the L side does 2 quick blinks then a slow one then 2 quick then 1 slow... not sure about this but will work the bugs out and post it up...

Hello..

Noob here with a 2007 Ford Edge SEL.. just this weekend picked up Rear Tail Light Assemblies from a 2013 Ford Edge.. they look cool.. but spent the whole day with my mechanic attempting to fix the rear turn signal to work without the red tail light flashing.
Also when I brake.. the amber light comes on..

So,. just hoping for an update to this topic fom way back in 2013.. someone knows something.. would appreciate your sharing.

Thanks in advance

Ask HAZ (on this board) if he'll post a copy of the 2007 and the 2013 wiring. Should be simple after checking the wiring schematics. (He's been a lifesaver to dozens in this forum with service information.)
