The description on it says, "Not applicable on vehicles equipped with Ford SYNC" The current mirror is auto-dimming, so there is power there. I was thinking I could just swap them out, anyone have any experience with this or know that it wouldn't work? Dingo Posted November 10, 2011 Report Share Posted November 10, 2011 You can get it. The Sync statement is because most Fords with Sync have the microphone on the mirror, but yours is in the ceiling. That being said, just get the homelink visor. It's 2 screws and a plug, it's cheaper, and you'll never accidentally move the mirror. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
