mpt1981
signed the paperwork monday on an earth metallic limited with 26+k miles. does not have the navigation system, dvd (we have a portable one we used in our trade car that works just fine), or power liftgate. it's the fwd with the 3.5l engine. really wanted the white but it sold the first day they had it on the lot. the color is very nice and it is clean right now, so after we drive to louisiana for christmas we shall see how much a pain it will be to keep clean. am still getting used to the sync and mft functions but it doesn't seem too bothersome right now. haven't been able to get the door codes to program but have the car code off the fuse box sticker and it works fine that way. after trade and extended warranty paid $23.3k for it so am feeling really good about the price too. glad to be a member here and look forward to learning new things about the car from ya'll. JOEHIO
Sweet ride, enjoy it. I had a '06 Explorer before the MKX, and do not miss it at all. Entry code is not hard to do at all. To create your own code, first enter the factory code, and within five seconds, press the 1.2 button, then enter your own 5 digit personal code. Each number must be entered within 5 seconds of each other. Instructions can be found in the owners guide under locks and security.
