That is exactly what it is known by and called in the factory, Prindle is how it's pronounced. I couldn't see any other connection as to where it may not be plugged in at. Believe me that was what I was hoping to find. One thing that struck me as I was doing all this work. The Lincoln was in the garage, but I was listening to Sirius all the time. The Garage door was open and it faces to the east. On yea, the Lincoln uses all white lights. I noticed the Edge has green dash lights, I suppose, all of the consoles will be white underneath, to show the red indicator. What upsets me, is the dealership letting it go out the door this way. I guess it's an easy item to overlook. Especially in the daytime. For the auto-lamps, have you noticed when you go under an overpass how sensitive they are,, usually before I get out the other side of a 4-6 lane overpass, the Lamps are already on... that must look weird for someone following to see, - your tail lamps coming on then going off, quickly.

I just visited the plan site, and stand by my previous statement above. AXZ-Plan PIN Restrictions The PIN must be generated prior to a sales agreement being written. PINs may NOT be given to dealership employees for use by a third-party customer. Dealership employees may NOT be used as brokers to locate AXZ-Plan customers for the purpose of providing PINs. Violating AXZ-Plan rules will result in suspension of AXZ-Plan eligibility and may result in termination of employment with the Company. Guess they just didn't like you on that site. What did you do? Spam them with the 1000 questions about the brakes there also?

OK, I admit I was skeptical of this, So tonight I broke my console apart. It's easy to pry the plastic pieces up and away from the console. You will need a 5/16" socket and at least a 6 in. extension. When I got the light strip away from the PRNDL indicator, I looked it over. The photo on the right is looking at the light strip from the bottom. Other than that, it's just a strip of glass. I tried everything I could to see if all connections were correct. I've notified my dealer about him getting me a new one. Thanks for the heads up on this. All this time I figured it was a cost savings move on Ford's part. Guess it actually was, hope they got these defective light strips at 1/2 off.

REAL fuel-mileage numbers? Not WAGd by the computer?
07 MKX replied to jeffreybehr's topic in All Wheel Drive (AWD)
Your into performance modifications. I've had the MKX for over 2 months, and not quite 2K miles. Just filled up tonight, and mileage was 20.5 MPG. I also get 18.5-18.8 on an '00 Exploder 4 door AWD 5.0L engine. Mileage is relevant to right foot pressure. I do a 50/50 mix of city/55 MPH driving too. -

Actually side bet running on the board was that you would have a *hitload of excuses not to buy anyways, hey I WIN I WIN Whhhhoooooooooooooo Hooooooooooooooooooo YEA BABY!

Well that's a shame, as I haven't recieved notification that a pin can't be given out over the internet, I think it's a good idea. Perhaps, it's just that people don't want to give you one. If I remember correctly, we would need your social security number and name of first born. Shucks, looks like Dodge scores again.

I see, well then if you happen to see Bill Ford logged in here, please ask him why, My vehicle didn't come with the pads that fit in the door pulls. I'd appreciate it. In the mean while, I'll just go by the assumption that this site is being populated by people who bought the vehicles and want to learn more about them. If it really becomes a concern of mine about those door pull pads, then I'd take that up directly with the company and not take a chance that the door pad engineer would be wasting his company time logging in here and seeing if he had satisfied customers. and for your information, I happen to know exactly what I speak of.

thread continued HERE!

for WHAT reason did you just start another thread of this smae problem again?
-
Redo the pics again, for evidence on your side. but that is REAL bullshit quality work. I'd go beyond the dealer and start dealing directly with Ford and demand replacement doors. Stick your ground. Once again, how in the h*ll could that have gotten thru QC?

Dang it, Dang it, Dang it. It was a dark and rainy night, I was driving my White MKX with a BLACK interior. :car: Below is an '08 interior picture vs. an '07. vs. Herein lies my dilemma. I love love love wood. One of the selling points to me of the Lincoln was the use of wood. One of it's major faults, again to me, is the cheap painted satin look of the plastic. You can never have too much wood, I'm sure everyone can agree on that. As you'll notice in the above picture to the right, the maple works well with the satin. But picture that same dash in a black interior, with dark wood used ON it. like this: An email back to me from B & I Trim stated this: http://www.bitrim.com/wd806a.htm I have listed the below options for your review and approval. MKX No. WD806A-CF CARBON FIBER WD806A-DNVM OEM dark (Navigator 07-UP) WD806A-NT Light OEM MATCH (Navigator 07) Do you see where a problem lies with an '07 MKX? IF you use the Dark wood applique you will have the satin buttons showing, or a two-tone finish. BUT if you get this dash in an '08 MKX, and then applied the applique, it's like it was straight from the factory that way. NO clashing. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet Sigh :lastyear:, I need mo money, I can see myself, replacing the '07 grill and control buttons on that dash with both from an '08 now. The grill being this '07 one vs. the '08: vs. The '08 grill is blackened out except for the chrome bars. And heck since everyone wants to add new wheels to their edge, I personally wood love to have those '08 wheels on my '07 MKX also. I guess I will be waiting til next spring, before I find out what it would cost to change out those buttons to an '08 style on the dash, then purchase the dash kit. For those getting an '08, you have much much better options now to chose from, you lucky lucky people's. One last request, has ANYONE added any dash kit to your CUV and can you upload pic's for all to see?

Also along that line, tonight I saw a movie, "The Addams Family Values". In it, the kids were doing a test. Wednesday and Pugsley were on the top of their home, and the girl asks her brother witch will hit the ground faster? A 20 LB. bowling ball or a 10 LB. baby? The bowling ball. Ahhhhh, but witch will bounce higher, she asks.

Optimum fuel air ratio is 14.7 LBS. of air to 1 LB. of fuel. no more, no less. BY weight. Colder air has more oxygen per volume than warm air. So this is also why 1 lb. of lead will weight more than 1 lb. of feathers, I believe. A naturally aspirated engine will suck in more air on each intake stroke during the winter than during the summer. Because more air has been drawn in, the computer must supply more fuel to maintain a non-lean burning mixture. Another reason fuel economy drops during the winter months in areas that experience it.

I have the Vista Roof, and in my owners manual, it cautions against using it, unless traveling above 12 mph. I guess it's only active if you have the roof open, and it's for the passenger rocket assisted escape seat. If my wife nags me one more time about my driving I will ask her to push it, and then I can refer to her as "My first wife...."

And then, their was this one time, at band camp...

Jeezeeus, 4 posts, Seems you want to 'vent' I believe a rep. from Fomoco chimed in with one reply already. This is related, but not to the Edge. I also have a hybrid Escape. Maybe 3 times, I've had a slight scare because Ford 'builtin' a crawl to the drivetrain components. I have to make sure I apply enough pressure to the brakes while stopped. If I don't then the vehicle inch's forward and being in stealth/electric mode it's quiet. It's something to be learned. It's a quirk about the vehicle. I suppose I could become mindless and rant and rave about it.but now that you did mention it 4 to 5 times. WOW! I am PISSED! Check yours and report back...thes is MESSED UP! Man, am I MAD!
