I got a rental twice. Service guy said its under warranty and you get a rental. One day it was for only 8hrs. Ford gets billed for it not the dealer. Thats how it should be.

'11 Edge Sport and '11 Mustang V6 both have the same motor, HP, Torque, and are true dual exhaust. Now, no one makes an exhaust for the Edge. So we can get the same sound from the Stangs mufflers. But you do have to get them modified to fit. If you want you can put almost any muffler on, but who knows what it will sound like. I like the sound of stock Mustang too. I dont want anything loud, just deeper and throaty as you can get from a V6.

Zippy did you bring it just for the update or did you have issues with MFT? My dealer called me and asked if I wanted to bring my in for an update. My works, but lags. I'm afraid I'll have other issues and dont want to make it worst.

I was thinking about installing a catback. In the spring I what to look into the Mustang V6 system. OEM or after market. The Stang has same motor and a good sound. Stand away from flowmaster or magaflow. They have a lot of drone. The only systems that dont generate drone is Corsa and Borla. They dont have one for the Edge but do for the Mustang V6. For those that dont know what Drone is, Its the loud obnoxious sound that fills the cabin almost like a humming sound.

MY dealer called me 10 days ago and said there was an update for my Sport and asked when I wanted to bring it in. I asked if they updated any other Edges or if my was the first. They said they updated the ones on the lot and 1 customers Edge who was having some issue. Its been a couple of days and he hasnt called with any issues. They said it would take 1 to 2 hours. But I'm nervous to have it updated. What if it does more bad then good. I do have the night light that goes out after 10mins on its own and it has only rebooted 3 times since Oct. My issue is to get rid of the lag. Anyone bring theirs in that didnt really have any issues just to have it updated?

No ones warranty covers rock chips. Thats one problem with having 22's they kick up a lot of debris from the roads.

Thats not to far from me. Lets us know how it works out for you. I got my from Royal Oak Ford. They where the only dealer able to get exactly what I wanted in 2 weeks time. OK, I'm all the way on the eastside of the mitten. If any one gets a copout answer go directly to the general manager of the dealer.

Just the characteristic of the car...BS, I cant stand that lack of customer service. A well build vehicle shouldnt be affected by the fluctuation in Temp or other conditions. I'm in Mich too. What dealer did you go to?

My AWD and 22's are getting the job done in the snow.

I have my garage door opener velcroed to the back of the wallfall. It does seem passenger friendly tho.

I have wind noise coming from the drivers door too. I noticed it when the temp. dropped. Its more noticeable when it windy and cold. I just dont feel like taking in now.

What color did you go with? Any pics? Im not sure if I should go with 5000k or 6000k.

I would love it if I could lower the steering wheel about an inch lower. Its feels so much higher then any other vehicle I have driven. It feels to thin too. Our Escape has a thicher steering wheels.

This is for a 2009...is the module in the same spot in the 2011?

Man those ballsasts are slim...I like them. I've heard good things about the Slims ballasts. Does Reto-solutions offer Slims Ballasts?

I called a few dealers and to install the OEM HID it will cost anywhere from $1800 to $2000 (not a typo).

Did you get your hid kit installed yet?
