I prefer overkill. And the higher wattage bring the color closer to 5000K.

I used a dxhid backup kit, morimoto 35w ballasts, and a morimoto wiring harness.

Suntek CarbonXP is way better film and comes in 80%. See if anyone near you has it.

It's more about the power than the quantity. Each of mine have 6 1/2-watt leds.
