  1. Then maybe it is something else, but when I turn it off I do not have that response.
  2. I have the towing package, not sure if that was obvious or not lol. But I felt the swaying on this one highway over here. I could have been the road for sure. However, the clunk that I get sometimes from letting off the gas and then back on is hard to deal with. Makes me think there is something wrong with the car. I am sure it is how it is supposed to operate when you are towing something so that it eases into the pull. I drove to Seoul and back today with it still enabled and it did fine. If I force myself to not worry about it and drive with it on, I bet I will forget about it.
  3. Sigh, I'm sure it is like that for people that forget to enable it and start towing. I don't know why I am so sensitive to it, but Ill have to live with it.
  4. Does no one else feel a difference at times when they let off the gas and then accelerate? Or when they reverse and then go into drive? I hope that there is a way to not have it always be enabled by default. It is driving me nuts.
  5. Recently I have noticed that there is a lag when I press the accelerator or a thump when I let off the gas and apply it again. I have felt this before when I was in Germany and found that the sway control was still on after I towed something. I turned the sway control off, then and now, and it solved the problem. Now I have noticed that every time I start the car up, sway control is enabled. So I have to go in and turn it off every time I drive. We were on the highway the other weekend and I could feel the car slightly drifting left to right. It was very slight, but enough for me to notice. I thought it was the road but I didn't have to correct my steering to adjust for the sway. That is when I found that sway control was on. I turned it off and it seemed to stop. Could be all in my head though...... I have searched and searched for another towing setting but can't find anything to turn off. It seems like the Edge thinks I am always towing something. This is the setting I am talking about: Not sure if it matters, but menu control memory is enabled. I don't really think it applies for these settings though. Can anyone out there save my sanity??
  6. I don't think they will look very bright in the day time. All of the pictures I can find of them are in the shade or the evening. I like the placement of the turn signal though.
  7. Glad to hear your wife is doing well! Boo to halogens!
  8. All I did with my Edge today was admire it. Love the style of this car.
  9. Other people may value them. It is a good reference to see if members like the output in the day or night time. Shots from inside the car at night can help members visualize better too. Pics don't do it justice, but lots of members still like to see. Plus it gives you a chance to show your Edge off
  10. Korea is great! My wife is Korean so we have family here. It is great to be with them. Work is busy and the food and travel is great! Which, by the way, we have a youtube channel for traveling Korea. Check it out if you have some time: www.youtube.com/koreaexplored
  11. Dynamikillu5ions did the work. You can find them on FB. They are currently rebuilding my headlights and I will be giving the forum first shot at them before I sell them online. I cannot use them over here, so they need to go.
  12. Quite a bit lol, you should actually see them pop up in a different part of the forums in a few weeks. Something to keep an eye out for in the future.
  13. This is what my Edge looked like a year ago. I miss those days~ No major mods, here are a few in my list: Dipped grill and wheels Custom headlights, halo/LED Strip/RGB demon eyes DTBL EdgeV2 DRLS K&N Filter Various LED conversions/installs
  14. I haven't tried that, I will look into it. Thanks for the offer, it would be great if you could lend me a hand.
  15. So looks like everything is good now. I can no longer see the wedges of missing light and the hot spot on the passenger side is gone. My parking spot is not level, so the lights don't seem straight. Lights on: Brights on: Final thoughts: Overall I am very happy with the HIDs. If you live in an area that is not lit up very well, or out in the country, these HIDs would provide great output. I did not have 55W HIDs before, mine old ones were 35W, but these far out preform those. Proper height of the projectors has prevented oncoming traffic to not be blinded. You could get a sense of what these would look like if you saw projector lights from an Audi or BMW. They are quite bright. Very happy with this installation and purchase.
  16. So I took a look at the bulb. There didn't seem to be any wires in the way. So I turned it and the wedge moved to the inside. So I turned it again and it is now in the 12 o'clock position. That is good for me because it gets cutoff by the shutter and you can only see it if you turn the brights on. That got me to check the driver's side and it has a wedge too that I didn't see before. It is at the 5 o'clock position (if you are sitting in the driver's seat). I couldn't see it before when I drove at night, so I don't think it is a huge issue. The driver's side bulb is always a huge pain in the butt to change, so I am going to drive around to see if I really notice a degradation of light output or not. If not, I will change it the next time I have the bumper off. I will also see if rotating the bulb has changed the hot spot on the passenger side too. Ill update when dusk falls.
  17. You know what Candurin, I was just thinking that as I was driving home last night. I probably don't need to rotate, it looks like a wire. Ill try and fix it this weekend. I won't need to drive with the lights on tonight. Good catch. Hopefully it works!
  18. Had the wife drive a little at dusk tonight. The video doesn't do the lights justice. The projectors look like brilliant pure white pearls floating down the road.
  19. Thanks. I'm still looking into it. I haven't even decided what colors I want to go with.
  20. Most likely. I contacted them and all they said was "we don't ship to APO addresses."
  21. Nice, I want to dip my wheels in a different dark color to accent the body paint on mine, but they won't ship to me. I have about 2 cans of matte black that I was able to sneak in my house shipment here. So I can make some adjustments and fix some spots, but that is about it.
  22. Looks great Matt! I like the black rims. I want to buy some for mine, but I can't stop investing . So I can't afford them. I will be able to later though. I like your side stripes, very unique! I might have to steal that version.
