MA friends, having trouble finding a place near Brockton/Canton/Stoughton area to weigh our moving truck after we get it unloaded. Anyone know of a transfer station/dump//recycling station that has a roll-on/roll-off scale in the area? Thanks in advance.

I purchased a set of 20" chrome rims on here last spring in mint condition with tires that didn't need to be replaced right away for about $850/900. If the tires are decent, a lil more is reasonable, IMOP

So a hail storm with 1/2-3/4" hail came through on Tuesday night and I never even noticed dents until I washed the cars today. The Edge had the following dents: Hood: 6+ Roof: 40+ Trunk: 0 Drivers Side: 15 Passenger Side: 2 The wife's 2005 Honda Accord faired much better as it was blocked from the side by the Edge but she had: Hood: 0 (that I could find) Roof: 28+ Trunk: 8 Drivers side: 6 Passenger Side 2 Is there a magic number where they would replace the roof or just pop them all out? I put the claim in for the Edge but I'm waiting to see how it goes before I make the claim for the Accord. The problem I see is that if we ever trade the Honda in, it is pretty worthless with the hail damage. Of course, I cannot live with the dents in the Edge and it will be fixed, no matter the cost. I've known some friends whose cars were totaled after getting hailed on but I don't believe we've come even close to that threshold. Thoughts, comments, experience, advice, all appreciated. -Mickey

Just had my last "Forced Fun" with the AD with a guest speaker who gave some of the worst advice about working with SNCOs to an audience that was 90% 2dLt's. Yay, now I get to make sure everyone in the school house I know knows what "not" to do.

You should never pay $300 a tire, going rate should be ~$150. Tire Rack or Discount Tire Direct. I got 4 20" Pirellis delivered to my door on a special for under $600 last summer plus a $60 gift card.

Scariest drive into work I ever had was not in MA, not in VT, it was in TX. It was this morning. So glad I have AWD and I know it's not the answer to everything but it + snow tires = about as safe as one can get.

Randomly watching Goo Goo Dolls on VH1, wishing they would play "Better Days" which was on the Season Finale of "Boston's Finest"It's my thinking song when I'm running. Search for it, you won't be disappointed.

Did you report it to Ford yet? I posted instructions on a similar name Topic. (sorry I don't have time to find it right now) I really think if enough people complain we could get it covered under warranty and some people would be able to get reimbursed. Good luck

Put my unpainted grill on the first month at 30K and am now at 70K. I'm very pleased with how it has held up w/OUT being painted. Wash it often and wax it too. I think it looks great w/the EGR bug guard as well. You can always paint it later. Good Luck
