  1. Good luck. I took mine in when the temp was 15° out, with the TSB. My dealer said it probably wasn't the same problem. Seemed like they didn't want to even look at it. I fear with sync 3 on the horizon we'll start to get a lot if dealer reactions like that.
  2. That edge in the video is exactly what I would order. Grey with Cognac interior.... If only it could be a 2.7 sport.
  3. The only issue is that long pauses will trigger Siri to stop listening and ask if your ready to send the message. I try to keep it short and to the point....most of the time my reply is OK I'm driving right now. Hehe
  4. after i listen to the text through MFT I just say "hey Siri" and when she pops up I say "reply to that last text". Works every time.
  5. I use a hitch mount rack from Kuat. It called the NV. Very sturdy and has a built in work stand. http://kuatracks.com/en/products/hitch/the-nv/#features
  6. I noticed this last night when trying to build a white sport with the 21" wheel option
  7. I thought for sure I was going to get the new edge, but now I'm not so sure. Really liking the MKX.
  8. "But the Edge has the advantage on second row leg room. We don't often use those seats but I can see that tall passengers might be very cramped back there." I have yet to sit in a similar to Edge vehicle that accomplishes both back seat leg room and storage room like the Edge. I think most have to go up to a 3 row to do it. Thanks for the input on the Kia. We were actually looking at one and the Hyundai Santa fe recently. But I may hold out to test drive a 2015 sport.
  9. For being the "edge product marketing manager" he sounded like he barely knew his product. Made that vid hard to watch. Hehe
  10. tmbubell I went back and look at the pic you posted with the busted trim piece...WOW! How did they do that? I had no problem taking the entire piece off the car and over to my work bench. I was then able to remove the camera and its wiring. I really looks like they left it bolted to the lift gate and tried prying it off. I removed the interior panel from the lift gate to access the 4 nuts holding the camera piece to the gate. Took about 10-15 mins.
  11. I replaced the entire trim piece from the rear lift gate and swapped my camera over to the new piece. listed as number 8 on the one diagram.
  12. Mine is doing the upside down image thing. I found a TSB but it's states the problem happening in cold weather. So I might just wait till the temps drop, then take it to the dealer.
  13. If it just the camera you can get that part from a ford parts site for a little over $100 shipped. It's easy to replace, as I've taken mine out to replace the chrome emblem strip its attached to. I'm not sure if once you replace the camera a software reboot is needed.
  14. I'm a bit spoiled only being 45min - 1hour away depending on the route I take.
  15. Good stuff. Makes me miss riding a lot. If your ever on "the hill" stop and say hi to my father in law. His name is Al and he's moonshinephoto.com
  16. Its not a ford issue its an Apple issue. Apple won't allow the phone to send certain info over BT so that the MFT system can read it. That's how it's always been with the iPhone. My buddies droid will sync with MFT and all his contacts info including pics sync over just fine.
  17. You have to pair...the shut the phone off/on. Pair again. On the phone in settings select Bluetooth tap the info button next to sync, make sure "show notifications" is selected.
  18. No problems here. I actually like the " hey Siri" function when the phone is plugged in. Get a text and MFT reads it, say hey Siri: reply to that last text....hands free all the way.
  19. I took mine to the dealer. Showed the TSB 11-6-4 that addresses the camera being flipped in cold weather. He looked at the paper then said maybe you should just bring it back this winter. The told me it's probably the camera and he'd have to look up the cost.
