  1. Maybe OPPOSITE would be a better description than BACKWARD?
  2. That's cool! In my fav color too, blazing copper sunset or whatever they called it. Does it have an air suspension
  3. So, back to normal, expected operating condition? If you have to take the dash apart again, betcha it takes 1/2 the time At least you got the core changed out before it leaked all over your carpet!
  4. Welcome & congrats. Hope to convert you into a longterm Ford owner
  5. There are videos on YouTube specifically for Edge HID installation, maybe TRS has 1 or 2 generic ones as well. A link that may be of use to you on this forum: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/12565-how-tos-powertrain-electronics-body-more/ and of course, the search engine
  6. I hear Korea gets pretty cold too! Is firewood used there anymore?
  7. Welcome. Can you give us more details about your Edge? Year & submodel, manual/automatic HVAC, etc. Where are you located? Do you have the HVAC system on when the sound occurs? Check the cabin air filter behind the glove box. There may indeed be something fallen in there, maybe even into the blower motor. The motor could be going bad. Could simply be a wire/harness or insulation not properly mounted inside the dash / vents.
  8. How many cords do you typically need for a winter season, Cellbine?
  9. Generic response, as expected, and until their lawyers say otherwise.
  10. Happy birthday, wannabang! Speaking of dirty screens, I find this microfiber tool to be pretty handy: http://www.amazon.com/Targus-Cleaning-Generation-BlackBerry-TXA00212US/dp/B004TLH7C0. When Dingo says his Edge is dirty, he means a pico-mm sized spec of dirt just landed on it
  11. Definitely keep an eye on it, and be firm with the dealer about the Throttle Body if the issue arises.
  12. http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/13442-comprehensive-mod-lists/ Everything your heart desires to know Toyo Proxes S/T Tires
  13. http://hooniverse.com/2013/08/16/braking-news-ate-super-blue-deemed-illegal-for-us-distribution/ My personal favorite brand of brake pads is Performance Friction (carbon metallic), but they do not have an application for the Edge. Have not had good luck with the HPS in the past, but will give them a go again. StopTech does make the SS lines for the 07-10 Edge also, looking to see who might make the 11 & up lines. Yours custom at a brake shop, or DIY? Goodrich part # 13098 for 07-10, 13099 for 11 & up, per autoanything.com. Even though visibility is pretty good with the Edge, I often am at busy intersections with no signals and curving roads. Would like to have confirmation before I get into traffic.
  14. Quite a Must Have list, Dingo Be sure you include gullwing doors in your "not here, later" list! Are you still happy with the Silblades? Time to replace my wipers, so ... Done: T10 2.5W LED Map lights from EBay 42mm Cree 5W Rear Dome and Cargo Lights from EBay Osram Nightbreaker Plus 9005/6 headlights TXT LED 9005/6 Headlights Hella Optilux Extreme Yellow Foglights LED 921 (Reversing) lights DTBL "Sport" Taillights Weathertech mats all-around Very Soon: Nitto 421Q 245/60/18 tires all-around Pioneer TS-A6885R Speakers F/R Not Here, Will Be Done Later: Slotted discs (not settled on brand yet) Hawk HPS or EBC YellowStuff pads Goodrich SS brake lines High-performance brake fluid (a little tougher now that SuperBlue is "illegal" to buy) 15w HIDs for reverse lighting SCT-based tune Backup & Forward Cameras, integrated (may be a while on this one) - looking to achieve 360 view, discreetly - something like the MobilEye 560 Conti LX20 tires (some time yet) Door speakers (staying with 2-3 way to keep installation simplified) - probably Infinity or JBL
  15. IF you are turning it in the correct direction, it may just be a matter of putting constant pressure on it. That's what I had to do with a late model Honda Pilot that was a PITA to work with. Also, if the area is dirty, clean it up first to make it easier. I THINK Dan (kc300c) may still have his HID installation video on YouTube, may give some hints in there.
  16. Welcome, and congratulations! Stalling is usually a bad Throttle Body symptom. But pulling codes first will point you in the correct direction. I don't think a bad TB will set a code, so if you have no codes and experience stalling, the TB would be a great starting point.
  17. Man, sorry to hear that Dingo! Hope it wasn't the one that was worked on? I typically bang my right knee on the edge of the dash getting in. Just a teensy bit too close for speedy entries
  18. OEM air filter is definitely a great option. Strongly recommend replacement every year, more frequently if you tend to get caught in dust storms. Keep that MAF/IAT sensor happy.
  19. Couple of good-looking cars! Post up a side by side pic if that's ok
  20. Search for "Brightest LEDs" in this forum, and you will see a thread by candurin. That listing 4 sure applies to 2011-2013 models. There may have been running changes in production on your specific Edge, always a possibility, but likelihood seems very low.
  21. He's got me going green with envy at his very cool mods
