likely the dealer... BUT, have you read here (and other places on the web) that people are pretty nonplussed by the OEM version. it has the 'cool' EDGE name yes, but seems to be very flimsy and thin... and people are not diggin it as it needs to protect as well as look good.

I just got mine in the mail and it is hella nice quality... super nice clean look, THICK rubber... I would recommend just based on that. not fit it to the car yet so not sure of fit quality, but initial impression is I would recommend it highly.

I asked dealer about this exact question and Limited does not come with those lines... I did not like them either.... they do a brushed aluminum in the Limited. BTW, read here about keeping the Camel clean.. it is tough. I changed from Camel to Black at last minute given what I saw at the dealer. Camel looks much tougher to keep clean. People have posted here about it.

in looking into this... it seems this is 2 items... the LCD mirror is item 1 and you buy that separate from the license plate camera. where did you buy it all from? are these model GX6103 by Xovision? can you provide some details as their website kinda sucks for details... for example, do they just fold down to expose the/a dvd slot to insert? how are they receiving power? where did you purchase..

is it just me... or do you almost throw up looking at those gallery images as they are all squished and distorted?? anyway... seems like most all of this you could do anyway on your own: 22" wheels, ground effects and body kits, smoked light kits.... so it looks good, but nothing people have not done in their custom mods anyway (except for maybe the interior changes).

until you grind one down on the curb but I am not sure how they are easier to clean? a rim is a rim.. whether it be made in steel, aluminum or clad plastic, not sure how I follow how it would be easier to clean as you are still just cleaning a rim?

Tribeca has this built in, 1 thing I wish the Edge had... might have to do something like this. check out this wireless one (only need to wire to reverse lamp in rear) - click here UPDATE: this thing is not so wireless... a lot of wiring to actually do. only downfall with these rearview mirror versions is that then the auto adjusting rear view mirror feature would not work.

they are just what you think.. an piece of cheezy plastic glued onto an unfinished aluminum wheel underneath... a very cheap way of making 'nice' looking rims... personally, I hate 'em. Some models of the Edge come with a true aluminum wheel or the premium painted aluminum wheels, but the chrome clad are all plastic facades.

just so happens, though CA is a 2 plate state, I told my dealer that when the car shows up to NOT drill the holes or place the front bracket.... I am gonna let it ride and see what happens as I would love to not have to have it and I see all kinds of newer cars *Mercedes, BMW, Lexus) rolling around here with no front plate.

An exclusive deal with Sprint Nextel Corp. will expire soon, he wrote." this is very good news in this arena as it is a BT 1.2 compatible phone, with the Palm OS (so we can still use our years worth of data and downloaded apps), inexpensive phone getting good reviews, and the Sprint one IS on the Ford Sync list... so one would assume (with fingers crossed) the Verizon one would as well.

this kind of brings up the question... what all could you sign up for or become a member of (AQHA, AAA, AARP, etc.) to receive an additional discount? But from what I understand, and it read, it can be combined with other public cash offers... which is key... so if there was already a cash rebate - whch there is right now - you could use this with that as well: 1500+750. plus, IIRC people have posted up here having done just that.. heck, I would still like to get my hands on one and take it to the dealer and see... no harm no foul... I mean, what would the dealer care if it was not my address on that card (assuming they even check)? They are not out anything are they?

this is not body specific and very minor... but I believe 07 high end was SEL + and now it is Limited and the rear badge reflects that.

Are those not just the "20 Inch Chrome Clad Aluminum Wheels"? an 895$ upgrade - or are the spokes thinner... hard to tell here is the wheel selection from Ford (the one above is from the Lincoln site) and these Ford ones look to be it and with thinner groups of spokes - like they put the 20" Fords on the Lincoln? wow... nice passive aggressive zinger there... :yup: anyway.. regaurding just this quote you posted from another website, this is not always the prevalent view in all the research one can do.. since the 4300k is more light output than 6000k, it is rather noticeable that they are not stock and in fact conversions. all that bright light and you stand out.

I cant give full details or totally meet your step by step needs.... but on a high level view & basics as I see it... you would need to tap into the ignition wire to make sure all items got power and come on ONLY when key powered up and key shut down when car turned off. I never do this as often, when adding after-market items I want them to run when the car is not on or key not in ignition. As for why yours do not turn right off right when vehicle is turned off.. they would not if not tied into an ignition wire. Plus, I understand - but do not know exact specifics - the Edge has like a 10 minute 'convenience' feature that keeps power to items in the car (stereo, map lights, nav, etc) for that time or until you get out. So that would explain that.. Anyway, one way you could do this is to tap into your ignition wire so that everything powers on and off at that time with key insert.. then, run everything through a rocker or toggle type switch(es) from radio Shack as they have a killer selection - you could get 1 with correct voltage/amp to handle them all, or do a cool concealed bank of them (maybe all in that deep dash center console) with all the same cool matching switch. This way, when car powers up, all items have power and then 1 throw (or push or flip) of one switch (or all if you put them on different switches) would power them all up. Sounds like you would want 1 switch though and if so, you could leave the switch always on and then the car turning on would turn them all on or off and maybe at times you could flip it to off if you wanted none of them active. you could still conceal it in the center console for example. hope it helps in some way to get the juices flowing as it sound like you want kind of a tricky setup that covers a lot of options.
