Every time I open and close a door, the interior lamps, parking lamps and puddle lamps illuminate for about 10 minutes. I find this excessive and I wonder if there is a setting somewhere that I can adjust it to about 3 or 5 minutes

I thought the front passenger seat was folding on all Edge Limited but today I had to transport some 8 feet long moldings and to my surprise I could not find anything on that seat which will fold its back Do I miss something?

Has anyone found the windshield / wipers oily on your new Edge? I cleaned the windshield / wipers with vinegar / Windex but the wipers still leave a grease film behind Is this from Ford because they handle the wipers with dirty hands or from the dealer?

Had my previous Passat with beige letherette interior for 12 years and never had a problem keeping the interior clean. I also have a Shih-Tzu (11Lbs dog) which after a walk I let her in and she has the habbit going all over the seats. When its wet outside, I wipe off her paws but still the seats get dirty and once a month or so I just clean the seats with a wet cloth and they are like new again. I love light interior but its a matter of taste

Finally got my new ride yesterday, what an amazing car. Had 4 km on the odometer but we had a snow storm here and didn’t have a chance to enjoy her more. Today drove about 50 km and I'm very happy so far. Lots of reading to find out about all the gadgets. Kind of disappointed that the glove compartment does not have a light but not a big deal as I will add one later same for the prop rod which I will replace with hood struts. Attached are some pictures, sorry but not enough space in my garage to take some shots of the front / back

Has anyone installed a Dash kit on a 2013 Edge like Remin, B&I and others?

The support for a custom made ashtray which I install in all the cars I had. The ashtray will be just below the headlight switch and it has to be in that location

The attached picture is not from my Edge but its from a 2013 Edge and I will assume mine will be the same. I want to attach a gizmo on the left side of the steering column where the red arrow points and I wonder if anyone knows what is behind that panel and how you remove the panel. It will not interfer with my legs

I also would like to detail my Edge but as per post #7 are the dealers obliged to do this pre delivery inspection? I was surprised that they have to do so much work / testing / driving because I thought cars coming from the factory are ready for the customer except cleaning the plastics and perhaps washing to remove transport dust etc.

Has anyone uses a battery charger like the CTEK 3300 or Bosch C3? I'm working from home and sometimes my Edge will stay in the garage for a few days and was thinking that the battery may drain completely off. On my previous car I had a kill switch installed which used to cut the power from the battey. Now a friend mentioned that doing that on the Edge will remove all settings from the computer etc.and he recommended one of the above chargers What is your opinion?
