Is there a link to see the process / steps of assembling a vehicle preferably a Ford? And since I have my VIN, is there a place where I can see the status of my Edge?

Never leased a car before so I wonder if I'm not happy with the service I get from the dealer I leased my Edge, can I go to another Ford dealer in the area or I'm obliged to stick with the same dealer until the lease end?

Thanks John747 for the tip. Looks like that there is no clear cut answer about the TPMS and so I will wait to get my Edge and try to figure out myself

Thanks Cruiser64, somehow I knew that the TPMS are inside the tire but do I have to change them? I thought that you may have to change a setting somewhere in the vehicles computer or something and I'm asking can I do this or it has to be the dealer?

Looks like my 2013 Edge Limited will arrive next week and since by law in my area we must have winter tires until March 15 I purchase from the dealer a set of 17" snow tires on mags which he will have them install. Since in about 3 weeks after I will change back to the summer tires, (the original 18" which come with the Edge), I have no problem changing the tires myself but I wonder about the TPMS which I never worked with it before Do I need any special tool to change the TPMS from 17" to 18"?

Regarding the Sony sound system I think I will disagree. Are we trying to replicate a home theater system inside an Edge? And $90(x2) for a set of speakers? I think that's overkill. Yes I know that some of us will spend a good fortune on a sound system for their cars but for the average person a factory system like the Sony it will be more than enough. My 2001 Passat has a factory installed Monsoon radio with 8 speakers and I thought the sound was fantastic. Of course I still don’t have my 2013 Edge Ltd to compare but I will be very surprised if its sound system is not at least a half decent system Just my opinion

I agree with JOEHIO,about the MKX. It was a big tamptation but at +15K more (tax included) I thought the Edge Ltd was a better deal. Also insurance and permit is higher with the MKX and what people think is also a factor - I mean I'm a simple man and the Lincoln indicates a different image than what I am

Congrats on your new Edge, looks like you got a good deal I agree with your choice of FWD. I also live in a heavy winter area and driving a Passat in the last 10 years I never got stuck or anything on heavy snow. So I thought the simpler the better and less maintenance and I ordered my Edge with FWD. Don’t want to say the AWD not worth the extra $$$ but in my experience and where I drive in the winter do not justify the extra cost Enjoy your new ride

Hey Quinn, thank you for your service and congrats on your new Edge. I know it's hard to wait for the delivery because I'm in the same situation. I placed the order for my 2013 Ltd FWD on Jan-16 and the dealer said it will take 4-6 weeks. The following week he sent me an email and he said that my Edge will be built (assembled) on January 28 and the delivery to the dealer is scheduled for the week of February 25 (Ford provides only the delivery week and not the exact day). Thanks for the help FR200FOCUS My Edge will arrive at the dealer the week of Feb-25 and I have asked the dealer to give me a price for the installation of the hood struts. Not that I can't install them but if their price is reasonable, why not?

It's ridiculous to have settings; Why only 3 settings? Why not Variable? My Passat and Audi each have variable switch, the more you turn the switch the more heat you get and so you can get the perfect setting. Another wake up for Ford, LOL

Finally I got the VIN for my Edge and the dealer said it will be built (assembeled) on January 28.
