I bought my Edge LTD on February 2013 and since by local laws I needed winter tires I ask the dealer to remove the 18” chrome clad tires and install the 17” winter tires I bought from him. Two months later I removed myself the 17” winter tires and installed the 18” chrome clad and drove all summer with no problem. Last December, I removed again the summer tires and installed the winter ones and all went fine again. Last Monday, I removed the winter tires and installed the summer ones again. Checked the pressure in all and it was 36psi. Next day was a heavy rain day, start the car and noticed nothing on the dashboard and drove for about 3 miles to a store. When I got back into the car and drove another 10 miles the TPMS message came on. Stopped and checked all tires and nothing was wrong and finally went home. Car stayed all night in the garage including all day Tuesday and I thought that now she will dry enough to get no messages again. Today I went out but the message now says “Tire Pressure Sensor Fault”. Car has 12000km Should I go to the dealer or there is something I can do myself?

I have no real need for the Nav system but after 4 months owning the truck I decided to test it. So I press the Home button to write my home address, then the number button to enter the street number and the numeric pad came up (wanted to input 2004); I press 2 and it shows on the list but then the rest numbers faded away on the pad and could not input the remaining of the number. Same for the street name, I press the first letter on the keypad but then the rest letters faded away. Don’t really know what I did byt eventually the Home address was completed by itself and it guided me back home nicely The owners manual has almost nothing about the Nav system screens Anyone knows where I can get good instructions on the Nav?

I will be going for my 1st service next month and the radio control is among my questions. Climate control works good for me. I think both controls have to do with the settings but going thru the settings you need a special course, lol

Hey Larry Was told that tinted coat is a laquer they apply after the paint job. I was thinking to get the ruby red, very sharp looking, but got finally the Kodiak Brown. Both are sharp looking colors to my opinion but yes they both show up dirt pretty fast. Yes silver does not show up the dirt by depends what you like. I will never have a silver or gray color in my ride So if we like a funcy color we got to wash her more often. lol Enjoy your ride

Now I get it, so the signal is free and I only pay for the hardware which in my case are included in the price I paid for my truck I know about the satellite radio which i decline to renew my subscription because I have no use for any radio while I'm driving, prefer to listen music thru my USB Nothing wrong with Sirus radio but I hate subscribing to anything I consider not essential

I Google it and found that other people pay for the GPS service but not me when I use it in my track I just wonder why

Hey guys, just curious how the heck the Navigation system works. I mean is connected to a satellite every time I drive the truck or what? Seems that she knows where I'm at all times because the screen shows all streets I'm approaching If its connected to a satellite, these things aren't for free and who pays for the connection? Guess I'm missing something?

Its only my guess but I think dealers do not want to take a chance and take extra options after they have submit an order to the factory in case the extras do not go thru. I got my VIN 2 days after I place the order so I think the orders are processed pretty fast regardless the delivery of the vehicle which takes much longer. Ordering a new vehicle is pretty much an automated process and once it registers difficult to change.

Here is a problem with my radio which is kind of annoying (don’t know if of any help but I always listen to music from my USB). Every time I back up into my garage I always turn off the radio. The next time I start up the truck some times the radio will turn on by itself and at higher volume then I normally listen to. I thought if I turn off the radio before I turn off the ignition, the next time I start the truck the radio will also be off. Can't find anything on the manual regarding this subject neither on the MyFord commands Any ideas?

I don’t know if this is an adjustments problem or if its normal on all Edge with auto tranny but when I approach a red light and I cost towards the light lets say at about 10km/hr if the light changes to green and I step on the gas the transmission either hesitates because it upshift or it downshifts and I get a jerk on the truck before it smooth out. It doesn’t happen all the times but I guess it depends on what speed I go before I step on the gas I only have about 1500km on my truck and perhaps its normal but I'm used to my 2001.5 Passat which changing gears was never noticed regardless the speed

No way I can move mine, and its a very thin plastic feels like its going to break when I force it. Will wait next time I go to the deler and get him to do it. Thanks akirby

Anyone knows how to remove the 2.0L EcoBoost engine cover which sits on top of the engine? I don’t see any screws holding it down so it must clip in place but perhaps mine is stuck and doesn’t want to move.

I'm about 500km away from the factory Perhaps I'm wrong but looks like that it takes longer to deliver the trucks to US than in Canada. Since they are manufactured in Canada, I asume they are shipping by train and that takes long

Today was the 1st time I drove my Edge under rain and when I tried to crack my window open a bit I noticed tons of water coming inside from the top of the roof and from the wipers when the swipe to the left; there is a heater outlet next to the window at the doors front top and some water went inside there and the rest spilled inside and over the mirror control Very surprised and looks like a faulty design? Remember older cars had a lip around the roof to divert water away from windows. Anyone has a similar problem? Anything in aftermarket to correct this problem?

I use regular and every third fillup I use premium. But I think I will switch to regular cause never noticed any difference with the premium.
