As for masking parts with painters' tape, there's nothing to be ashamed of at all. In fact, I did it on my 2008 Edge for the following reasons: a) Protection of headlights, rubber, and other components due to me using a rotary which can grind down to bare metal if you are not careful. I did not want polish or wax getting on the textured plastic cladding at the bottom of the vehicle. That crap is a bear to get out. Will I do the same with my 2011? You'd better believe it and without any remorse.

What do you use to keep tires shiny?
PrinzII replied to Sparkles's topic in Appearance - Detailing, Wash & Wax
I tend to favor water-based protectants such as Lexol's Vinylex or 303. -

For those who don't feel comfortable darkening their windows, Llumar has a product called AirBlue 80. This is an 80% tint that ANYONE would be hard pressed to tell you had it tinted. It looks like factory glass except that you have VERY high heat rejection. As for my back windows and front doors, I am running the AZ legal limit of 35%.

I figured I would christen the new forum with a review of the dealership I got both my 2008 and 2011 Edges from. Their slogan is "It's all about you!" and they do live up to it quite well. Each time I have taken the Edges in for service, they intently listen to my concerns and work with me to solve the problems. Brandon, Eric, John, Jesus, and Vicki have all been stellar when it came to making sure everything is in tip top shape for me. If you need to get around, there is an Enterprise Car Rental on the premises. They charge a nominal fee for renting a vehicle. Their service matches that of the dealership. They will also work with you to get you into something comfortable. If you decide to wait, you can head over to the Mustang Coffee Bar. They do serve some pretty good coffees and pastries. The guy who mans it does bring in one of the best homemade lemon bars I have EVER tasted. The only place that may need work, IMO, is Aftermarket. They don't always contact you after determining you need a quote.

The goal of this forum is to share different experiences with Ford dealerships and forum vendors whether good or bad. For those experiences that are not so pleasant, we ask for the following: a: Contact the vendor/dealership and try to work the solution out. If you can't reach a reasonable solution, let it be known here. b: Try to keep your arguments off the forums. Handle them via Email and/or private message. c: Try to keep a civil tone. Remember that you get more flies with honey than with vinegar.

I have an S3 and it works fine for phone but tends to be a little funny with Bluetooth Audio (Playing music from the cell phone). Sometimes, it will drop on me or take a long time to connect. If the S4 solves those problems, I am heading to the nearest T-Mobile Store and picking up a black one.

I have an Asus laptop.

Did you dilute the All Purpose Cleaner? -
I went with a 1200 W PS in order to give myself some headroom if I decide to go SLI in the future. With things like Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, and a few other things, I need the firepower. I did have a UPS on my desktop before but may go that route again. Possibly APC.

I will agree. Updating them is a real pain in the . That's why I went Asus this time around.

2011 Edge: Teapot Whistle when Applying Brakes
PrinzII replied to PrinzII's topic in Brakes, Chassis & Suspension
Interesting. My dealership only replaced the booster and the problem went away. What is your dealership saying about the master cylinder? -
I actually added 35% tint on the back windows and rear doors. Much better in terms of heat rejection since I also have an 80% on the windshield.
