  1. I git my drl shut off at Heritage Ford in Scarborough, I'm sure they can help you out. They charged half an hour labour so price was $55 plus tax.
  2. Every time you get in your car, MFT will re-download your phone book from your phone in order to keep MFT up to date. When it does this, there isn't enough bandwidth so the music skips and stuff. If you turn off the auto download and just manually update it when needed, the problem goes away. At least it did for me. Give it a try, if it doesn't help you, just turn it back on.
  3. Guys, try turning off the auto uodate the phone book option in MFT. Mine skipped when the car was first started because the phone book was updating. The skipping stopped for me, after this.
  4. Just an update on my install. The plug was faulty, as mentioned before the pins in the plug get pushed out towards the back when pressed onto the light connector. I took the rear of the plug apart and pressed them back in. I reinstalled the plug but the same thing happened again. This time I left the plug on the light and pressed the pins back in place. This time the lights worked fine. I'm sure I'll have to plug it in this way any time I remove the plug, but that won't happen often so no big deal. Don't be a dummy like me and forget to pull the fuse before using a screwdriver to push the pins in the plug, or you will have to replace a fuse lol. I hope this helps anyone else with this issue.
  5. I just ran into this same issue. I didn't have time to trouble shoot it yet, but it is the same R/H plug.It didn't feel the same when I clicked it on like the L/H side did. When I press on the back of the plug, the lights would then come on. I will try to mess with the plug later and see if I can get it fixed as well.
  6. Thanks tazmanken, I only had time to last night physically install the lights and feed the wires to their proper places and secure them. I ran out if time to hook any of the lights up, I may try and find time at lunch to do it. The suspense and anticipation is killing me lol.
  7. The USPS site tracked my package up till delivery. Once the package got to Mississauga, Canada Post tracking stopped. Maybe your package is stuck in customs. I'm not sure about how my lights will work. I asked before buying and was assured that this system was compatible with my factory HID headlights and factory DRLs. I guess worst case scenario I could get the dealer to turn of my DRL lights. I hope to get a chance to try and install the lights tonight. If anyone else in Canada has installed theirs, please post how it went for the rest of us.
  8. Thanks for the reply. I just picked my lights up from the post office, I hope to try and install them tonight. If not I'll have to wait till next week as I am away this weekend. Thanks again for your help, I'll be sure to let you know how it goes.
  9. Just found out my lights will be here tomorrow, they tried to deliver to my house instead of my work, oh well glad to get them so quickly regardless. I have another question though. My Edge has factory HID installed, and being in Canada that means DRL are law here. Therefore my front amber turn signals are my DRL. Will this affect my install to keep the new DRL bumper light working with the courtesy lights? I looked at Dan's website and youtube channel, but there has been no update with install instructions. Thanks for the help thus far.
  10. The date on your window sticker usually isn't the build date, just the date the vin was created. Use the link below and input your vin, this will give you the actual build date and much more info. Some of the detailed info like axle ratios etc. take a couple weeks after build to show up. http://www.etis.ford.com/vehicleRegSelector.do
  11. Thanks for posting this, it sounds like the way I'd like to have mine behave as well. If it isn't too much trouble, could you (or anyone else for that matter) create an idiots guide to hooking the lights up the proper way to keep the DRLs working as a courtesy light? I thought I had some time to spare as I am in Toronto Canada, but I see my parcel is here in town awaiting customs clearance. I should have my lights by Wednesday or Friday at the latest, I'd love to install them this weekend if I can get some needed direction. I'm excited to install my DRL, puddle lights and interior LED kit.
  12. If either Dan or Cellbine could look into if I am the first batch or not when you have a chance would be much appreciated. I am not sure if I ordered in time for the first batch as I didn't order till June 3rd I think. Regardless, thanks for the service and products you provide. I'll be proud to install them on my ride.
  13. 2013 Limited AWD here with only about 3100 miles on it and we so far are averaging around 16mpg with 90% of that short city trips. This includes quite a bit of idle time. A week that I don't do much idling I'll get about 18mpg. On the highway get just under 24mpg doing around 70 to 80 mph. If I do closer to the speed limit I can get as high as 26 to 27mpg.
  14. Yes the headlights flash like a normal car when you pull back on the turn signal stalk. I'm pretty sure it is the high beams that flash, petty sure I remember hearing the shutters moving when I flashed the lights.
  15. Placed my order tonight. I ordered the daytime running lights, puddle light kit and the interior light pack. Not the wait for delivery begins.
  16. Welcome neighbour. Those would be nice features to have.
  17. No way from steering wheel, but if you use the tune+ and tune- buttons on the "volume dial" below the Sony logo on the centre stack, you can scroll one station at a time that way.
  18. Snapped a quick pic while downtown today.

My Note 2 works perfectly with both the MFT and my home Wifi. Good luck with your phone.
  20. If it isn't available in your trim package, then you can't get it. This how Ford gets you to spend more on higher end models.
  21. No, I'm not clairvoyant, I live near the Oakville assembly plant where our Edges are made. I discovered after taking delivery of mine that a old friend of mine works at the Oakville plant in the department that schedules production.
  22. Took a drive to the Scarborough Bluffs on the shore of lake Ontario.
