  1. Close to the same way I have my Edge configured. I usually put the fuel economy guage on the 5-minute display though. I find the instant one to be a bit distracting.
  2. Yep, those would be the memory presets. Just moved to the door from the current position next to/below the steering wheel. While the speedo isn't quite as fancy as the concept, at least it now has a traditional sweep instead of swinging up from vertical at 0 MPH. I kind of miss the "hooded" look the current dashboard has, but this one still looks clean.
  3. Maybe. Had an out-of-round tire on my Cobra once. It really only exhibited any symptoms within a 20 MPH range. Granted, it was a range much higher than 0-40.
  4. Looks to be pretty similar to the current setup to me. Paddles are behind the wheel. Buttons for audio/phone/MFT/cruise are on the front.
  5. Glad to see the new LEDs look as though they will operate as DRL's as opposed to the weak sauce ornamental ones on the current Edge.
  6. Will be interesting to see what results come of the new design. If it is programmed properly, there's a decent chance that a faster processor wouldn't even be necessary. The programming would just use the existing one much more efficiently.
  7. Could be one of the tires is out-of-round. Will continue to produce a vibration even if it has been balanced. Unfortunately the only correction there is new tires.
  8. All of the articles all specify all three engines available on the 2015 Edge. 2.0EB (with or without AWD), 3.5 V6, and 2.7EB for the Sport (AWD standard on the latter two).
  9. And if it isn't ready, it isn't ready. No reason to hold up the entire vehicle just to launch it with a new version of MFT, especially if the rumors of it being compatible with existing hardware are true. It was a little different in 2010, as much of the physical design of the IP and center stack relied on MFT being there, in any form.
  10. I actually prefer the new center stack. It actually has storage, something the current one lacks. No good place for a phone or wallet. This one appears to solve that issue.
  11. It was hinted at sometime ago that the new software would be backwards compatible with the current MFT hardware. Just hope they didn't compromise the new design too much in order to make that possible.
  12. I'm fine with the vents. I'm just glad they finally added some storage areas on the center stack. One area that's sorely lacking on the current car.
  13. Unless you do rock crawling where you often experience full suspension compression, I doubt you'll have any issues with the additional height either.
  14. 275/40/22 would hardly be a noticeable change. Don't think you'll have any issues.
  15. There are removable bottom plates in my 2011. Fairly certain they haven't been redesigned since then. Perhaps they were left out?
  16. Congrats on the new ride! Still love my '11 Sport too!
  17. There is a TSB on the Edge for the brake pedal losing feel. It could be related to that. Don't know exactly what the campaign is but your dealer should be aware of it. Believe there are some other threads on the forums related to that particular issue.
  18. Sometimes contamination of the brake pad can lead to a squeek at certain speeds/brake pressures. Sometimes an easy (albeit potentially not very safe) way to clear the contamination is to find a place you can reverse the car at relatively high speed and hit the brakes pretty hard. Sometimes that will dislodge the contaminant making the noise. Depending on how evenly the pads are wearing, you can also try swapping the pads to the opposite side of the vehicle which sometimes clears it up. WD40 can work in all the places you suggested, I would just advise against getting it on the rotor/pad surface.
  19. Some "scraping" type of noise is completely normal after the car has been sitting overnight or longer. The rotors are bare steel and will glaze over with surface rust if left sitting in anything other than desert-dry air. Nothing to be concerned about if it's nothing beyond that. The vibration sounds like it could be something more though.
  20. Some paint colors have been discontinued over time but most of them should be available from any reputable paint shop, assuming you have the correct paint code and the correct pigments are still being manufactured.
  21. My AWD Sport handled this past MD winter alright -- not spectactularly -- but alright. Never got stuck anywhere, but I was left slipping and sliding a bit more than I was comfortable with on a couple occasions. Of course, I certainly didn't expect low profile tires to handle the white stuff too well anyway. It's definitely no Grand Cherokee in that regard.
  22. Good point. I figured he just meant it had no nav because it has no SD card.
  23. If you buy it new it does. Imagine it would be entirely up to dealer discretion if they want to include it in a used one.
