  1. Okay guys, so I purchased a used 2013 Edge Sport late last year. I am considering purchasing a Premium Care plan. Recently I found out I am out of warranty as the car was purchased early 2012. Ohh well. Lombarford Warrantys has told me I can still get the car covered since I guess there is a 4 month out of warranty period whereby Ford will still issue the same quote as if it had been in warranty IF my car passes an inspection, Basically $1550 for 100k miles. I am still a little under 36k miles. I know I can probably get a lower quote somewhere else, but Lombardford offers payment plans, which would be preferable. Let me get to my question. The covered interior and exterior light option for about another 75 dollars. Is it worth it? Thanks to any insight here. I'm basically considering the extended warranty because my car had been in a car accident from the previous owner. Car required body work and now looks brand new, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. I had my EDGE examined thoroughly by a mechanic before I purchased it. Car checked out great on that inspection.
  2. Yes, I have the 22's. I personally don't mind the thread pattern on the scorpions. They suit me just fine. What was of concern to me was the look from the outside as some tires seem to bulge out more than others if that makes any sense.
  3. Just purchased 4 new scorpion tires for the sport edge at 28,000 miles. Was going to downgrade for cheaper tires, but the look of the pirellis is soo much better.
  4. I had a similar issue. I would turn on the defrost, but it would not clear the frost at all. I turned up the temperature on the climate control and it works fine now. Perhaps were talking about two different issues.
  5. Have the same model and color 13 version. Looks so smooth when it's nice and clean. Love the tuxedo black, but I'm partial of course. Congrats!
  6. I have the same exact color and trim 13 model. The wheels I love and definitely help set the car apart from the other edge trims.

lol...ohh man...and I've been wanting to remove the emblem. I prefer the clean slate look. Is this the emblem in the front or back? What if any marks or holes are behind the emblem if you could share.
  8. lol. I think many of you are misunderstanding my thoughts on the rear window. I have no need or want to have it open while driving. My thought was to be able to access the back cargo area without opening the entire rear latch. Say I have something I want to pull out or put in..
  9. I have it for free for the next 3 months as I just bought the vehicle. I really like it to be honest. Sound quality is good. Will cut out every now and then under an underpass, but for the most has been good. No problems with volume. However as much as I like it, I think I'll stick with streaming pandora once my 3 months are up.
  10. I really liked the white when I was shopping around for a used 2013 with low mileage. Came across the black which met all my criteria and glad I went with the black instead. The sport wheel trim goes perfect with this color. Felt all the black and huge wheels were a bit much at first, but the car just looks clean and rides like a beast. Dirt and such doesn't show up very well with this color IMO, although being a new owner I'm inclined to always keeping it clean.
  11. So I just purchased a used 2013 Edge Sport less than a month ago. Had a very reputable mechanic come out and take a look at the car before I purchased it. Of course the problem did not appear when he was there, but it's appearing now. Love the car and it only has 24k miles so far, so going into the dealership to have them take a look at this problem while it's still under warranty. Thanks to this forum I feel relieved to know there is an answer out there.
  12. lol....well I don't smoke fellas..sorry. Yes, I'm referring to opening the window rather than opening the entire back/latch door. Opening the window just to grab or place a few things(tools and such) would be ideal over opening the entire latch every time.
  13. To me part of the appeal is the look of the running board on the edge apart from the function. I definitely would want to see it and not have it hidden. I don't know why it seems to sit soo high. From the outside it seems low to the ground. Once I'm in it, I feel like I'm towering over most traffic on the highway.
