  1. Now we got some accurate data we can use! Are you using brake torque, if so are tires spinning/any hop? You can get a TRC that racing channel app to see what the weather conditions and DA look like for your launches. You are about half second ahead of best stock time. Care to run stock to quantify same day result?
  2. I expect nothing less, and a lot more, actually.
  3. I certainly hope so considering how much time and $ is invested in all the first things they are doing with the platform. Hopefully my ethanol and race gas testing will help them focus on a tuning direction that will yield the best results.
  4. Xtra... Test vehicle is a Continental. There are no Edges hitting 110. Sigh... I left instructions on what to focus on.
  5. Made 10 runs @ 105 octane and pretty mucg convinced race gas is a waste of $ compared to mixing e85. Assuming your fuel pump can take the heat. Used 93 octane and race-gas additive. About 4-5 gallons in tank + 32oz. 30 miles shown left in tank when started and 14 when leaving.
  6. Www.floodfordesp.com Get your quote, buy it, pass it on. 7/100 0 deductible with lights set me back 2k on a Lincoln. Dealer confirmed they saw it in their system as Premium care, best you can get.
  7. Summary: Dragy useless for the 60ft distance, 1/4 mile worst case scenario off by 6.7/100. On average 3/100 off from track time which is more than close enough not to spend the cash and time on track.
  8. Best run along with car # that wouldn't come off
  9. 3 basic items to focus on: 1. 60ft (quality of your launch) 2. 1/8 mile (middle performance) 3. 1/4 mile (this is where your car heats up and rate of acceleration slows down) The columns are sorted based on the 3 items above plus delta on the 1/4 mile time. Subtle excel column labels show you which is which.
  10. Any person who has tuned their vehicle wants to see and feel performance. There are 3 basic ways to do it: 1. Go to NHRA race track 2. Buy a Vbox 3. Buy Dragy For this comparison I am using the $150 Dragy from www.godragy.com and comparing it to Island Dragway NJ NHRA certified system. 21 runs were made with no cool down, engine running. Gas used: e35 blend Vehicle: Livernois tuned Lincoln Continental 3.0 (the only Continental probably in the world that races) Please absorb the data and ask any questions you want, slower times were the result of decreased tire pressure. The goal is to watch difference between Dragy and track and not me ripping my hair out thinking how I went from 12.7 to a 12.9...
  11. Sounds like you should give em a call or review those instructions one more time.
  12. My last one was a lease, holding down #1 over a year later. Knowing how well the car is performing beats guessing. In the heat, in the cold, anywhere. I use mine on the street mostly for launch measure and 20 to 40
  13. You should invest in Dragy if you want accurate results. Www.godragy.com
  14. What are you using to measure acceleration? I would expect some tire spin.
  15. I probably should add that I used the purple 112 octane can and the Livernois 100 tune took 0 advantage of extra octane. Going 105 instead of 100 gives you room to go faster, that I tested quite a bit ?
  16. I used www.Race-gas.com for my 12.7 runs. Good thing about Livernois tune if it's cold enough the regular 93 v3 tune is good for 12s.... Or in the case of 0 to 60, mid 4 second hard launches.
  17. Xtra, I am sure you have the fastest 91 time
  18. 93 aggressive, e30, race 100. That's what you paid $ for, everything else...
  19. Just for perspective, a tune + KN drop it running high octane hitting 108.5 mph @ track. And the previous 93 record of 105 (save a few 100s)
  20. Top 3... 1. Summer tires 2. Tune 3. 160 deg thermostat In that order.
  21. Sorry to hear, might want to find an expert on this and do it right before you have serious issues. Safety and all.
  22. Definitely get Dragy and something to magnet it to. My car has metal speaker grill so it's perfect. The phone can actually be in the back seat, results will still record ? I go 55 to 90 miles for track and traffic just to leave city is crazy. Dragy plays best on iPhone, their Android app not as well developed.
  23. And list updated for my groups.
