According to Ford parts the p/n are the same for the rear stabilizer bar for late model 2015-2018 Edge Sport FWD & AWD. -
Rear Motor Mount (RMM) (2016 Edge Sport)
snmjim replied to snmjim's topic in Accessories & Modifications
Don't know for sure however having examined one next to the CPe 60 Duro RMM I'd take a SWAG at it and say no more than 30 at best but wouldn't B surprised if it was 20. I was able 2 move the inner attachment point by hand, try that with any of the aftermarkets...;-) -

Pull the clean side off every time you change oil and swab it with a Q-tip, there's your proof no matter how you drive...

For those of you anxiously awaiting raw data as a result for the install of the Ultimate Performance IC & the Rambo IC Outlet Pipe along with custom Tune refinement on 93 octane the following applies... While we're waiting for SpecialK & I to locate an accurate Dyno within reasonable driving distance and schedule track time we'll periodically post Pics of the onboard tune computer/monitor at specific speeds & temperatures. Note: We still intend to provide the Dyno & track time data analysis in typical SpecialK fashion once we have it, however be patient it's going to be a while... As the weather warms we'll do our best to provide incremental updates. We'll start with Vinny is awesome to talk to and a wealth of validated Info. JLT Performance POC: Vinny 757-335-1940 1008 Executive Blvd Chesapeake, VA 23320 When we ordered the JLT catch can it was in our possession in 2-3 days then to top it off when we opened the box to our amazement we saw what looked equal in quality to a catch can produced by Ford specifically for the Edge, it was just that high in quality! Oh, and did we mention VERY reasonably priced! No, we're not getting kick backs and to add to the emphasis...we cancelled an RXP order immediately after opening the box, it was just that visually impressive! The install was easy, quick and clean. Basically, remove an easily accessible hose, add a bracket to an existing bolt and route two short hoses to the same points you removed the one hose from. Data points completed: Installed at 54k miles - 1200-1500 mi (Ref Pic) - 2000-2500 mi (Ref Pic) - 3500-4000 (Ref Pics) Notes: 2500 mi check performed - 23 July 2018 Vehicle miles - 57625 Avg Temp for past 30 days - 85-95 degrees with 80% humidity Driving Conditions - 75% Hwy / 25% Suburbs 3500 mi check performed - 07 Dec 2018 Vehicle miles - 63,874 Avg Temp for past 30 days - 35-45 degrees with 65% humidity Driving Conditions - 75% Hwy / 25% Suburbs Note: higher Qty & lighter color as weather gets colder...quiz time: why?...Clue: its normal...? Last & final measurement performed - 3500 miles

We totally support Xtras concept. If your testing for performance increases per modification then as long as the same Dyno is used and atmospheric conditions are similar then you will have a general idea of increase. However, if your looking for accuracy in data then you must do your Dyno research & analysis in addition to scheduling your test when atmospheric conditions are the same as the initial test, thats if it's not in an atmospherically controlled environment. Go Xtra Go!!! Update: We're on hold for installing our Max modified Turbos until we can get the vendors their Dyno & track data for the IC & cold pipe. We have reason to believe the Dyno we're using is not baseline set correctly & amospherically affected since it's in a tight open bay.

snmjim replied to snmjim's topic in Brakes, Chassis & Suspension
We would venture to say that its so easy a caveman can do it however, since Geico ran that one into the ground we'll have to come up with a new one but so as not to slow things down we'll just refer you to our R&D post on page one of this topic string... :happy feet: To Summarize: - 4 bolts & 2 nuts total - 2 bolts & 1 nut left of center (2 bushing bracket bolts and 1 link nut) - 2 bolts & 1 nut right of center (2 bushing bracket bolts and 1 link nut) And in the mean time we'll count you in unless you PM me otherwise,,, -

Update... -
If U do your due diligence by reading from the beginning of this thread all of your questions will B answered & our efforts will not have been N vain...LOL
-
No, SpecialK's S4 Audi direct injection V6 after 57k
-
We do our own work & it's done with a specific special tool, aka material blaster, that can B purchased at Harbor Freight, of all places of which I cant stand...lol It is my understanding that few shops will do this process because it's considered custom work.

To chime in on Vinny's point... I'd also recommend that once you install whichever catch can U choose U should also consider having your intake manifold pulled 2 have your intake ports & valves blast cleaned due 2 the lack of having a catch can, not a hard job but well worth it now that U have significantly mitigated the cause. Ref the clear before & after Pics of an S4 Audi direct injected Supercharged V6 at 50k-60k miles. There has been deliberation that since the clear Pics are not of a 2015-2018 Edge Sport they do not substantiate the point however they do but just to put the disbelievers to rest we pulled the throttle body off our 2016 Edge Sport with 56k miles and took Pics of the intake, ports and valves using a bore scope. We mostly use 93 octane, drive suburbs but mostly highway, aggressive driver, change oil 3500 mi and live in MD. You can now make your own decision based on facts... Note: you will have to be familiar with looking at scope Pics to see what your looking for so we adjusted the Pics the best we could to help those out who aren't familiar with this type of Pic:

Howie, In response to your request of interest... After all of my research I'm definitely going with JLT. Vinney and I have been talking directly and I'm waiting for him to confirm fitment for the larger catch can cup. Also, hopefully I was successful at persuading him to do a true CAI for this application since no one has to date, that I'm aware of. BTW, awesome research along with well founded factual write ups...way to go...

2016 Edge Sport (G2) Front & Rear Sway Bars
snmjim replied to snmjim's topic in Brakes, Chassis & Suspension
No need 2 redesign the front. The modified rear bar will put the vehicle right where the preferred performance handling characteristics recommend. -
Hey there Howie, I'm not the Pic embed expert & have no clue how 2 embed Pics N specific parts of your paragraphs but I do know how 2 embed all Pics at the bottom of your post. Use the "More Reply Options" for new posts and "Use Full Editor" for editing existing posts and you should see at the bottom left of the Txt box the Pic attachment dialogue box.

2016 Edge Sport (G2) Front & Rear Sway Bars
snmjim replied to snmjim's topic in Brakes, Chassis & Suspension
The ADDCO Stabilizer bar specifics are in and ADDCO is ready for us to collectively order! Note: this bar specifically applies to late model 2015 thru 2018 AWD & FWD Edge Sport. ADDCO requires a minimum order of 10 to INITIATE this production run and will not consider a smaller Qty. I'm coordinating this initial purchase for us in order to initiate the minimum production batch price requirement. SpecialK is coordinating Facebook orders to assist with accomplishing the production initiation Qty. Note: if you attempt to go direct to ADDCO you will defeat the purpose of the group rate. The following have committed to placing the initial orders: Xtra onyxbfly One Slow 5.0 JScaro roots57 Denny Gaughan redlancer We have exceeded the minimum production number, this count includes 5 orders from the Facebook group. Additional orders WILL be accepted as long as they are placed during the required time frame for this initial order (28 May thru 01 June 2018). The bar is powder coated black and supplied with mid section brackets and bushings (Ref Pics). UPDATEs: - As of 24 May 2018 install/fitment is complete and successful with the usual Stab bar install technique. - As of 25 May 2018 Performance testing results for 1st hole: Body roll 80-90% eliminated Car is firmly planted in sharp speed turns Understeer mitigated 80-90% - As of 2 June 2018 Performance testing results for 2nd hole: Body roll 85-95% eliminated Car is firmly planted in sharp speed turns Understeer mitigated 85-95% ADDCO INITIAL ORDER SPECIFICS: As of 29 May 2018: - Immediately contact John Wright (ADDCO primary Engineer) (Office: 800-338-7015 x102 or Cell 828-719-8034) to place your order. - John Wright (ADDCO POC) asked that you leave a Msg if he doesn't answer and he'll return your call. ADDCO Info: www.addco.net Part # 2452 1.125 Price = $185.00 (price does NOT include shipping) INSTALLATION COMMENTS: Ref Pics Recommend replacing OE links with MOOG (p/n MOO K750744) from RockAuto. Stiffer bar stronger links. Put very light coat of silicone or grease on inside diameter of bushings to allow for ease of bar left to right alignment. Loose fit the bar by resting it in place over exhaust pipe without bolting down bushing brackets. Then install the links, if you elected to replace them, but leave connected & loosely bolted. Tighten down links first then align bar so the distance is equal for the amount of bar extending beyond the left & right bushing. Tighten down bushings & your done. Note: you may want to consider putting anti seize on all threads... GENERAL COMMENTS: No clue why the FEF App continues to turn my Pics sideways... If we taunt SpecialK enough he just might bless us with an evaluation & comparative video to his last video...hint, hint...I so enjoy taunting that fine young man...lol -
Now it all makes sense, like Father like Son, what a shinning example to set...
-
Outstanding test & evaluation... You should definitely have a full understanding of the catch can system after viewing this video... Great find...
-
Contact Vinny at JLT Perf (757-335-1940 x107) for catch can specifics, he's great to talk to. However to Sum up what he educated me on is as follows: - The Team RXP Sys is high quality but over kill for our applications & lvl of use. - The clean side only catches little if any when in sustained high boost via a check valve Hopefully these facts helped, courtesy of JC Perf Dvlp (SnMJim & SpecialK)...ding dong the witch is dead sings the village...thnx Allen...;-)

UPATE & ATTENTIOIN*** The President of ADDCO has contacted us to ship the prototype rear stabilizer bar for fitment and Eval of which no issues are anticipated since the stock Ford bar we shipped was laser scanned and computer generated. They would like an estimate for the anticipated Qty to have ready so no one has to wait. So far I have: xtra onyxbfly Need your committed responses by 21 May 2018 -
Great write up Howie and thnx 4 taking the time. FYI, SpecialK & myself R the ones that jumped on contacting Vinny 2 do fitment however B4 he could give us a fitment date he cancelled because he was able 2 get a local Edge from one of his dealership sources. Thnx again 4 helping us move Fwd with this platform!
