  1. Sorry it's been a year plus since we promised to post a track slip and Dyno sheet however after multiple scheduling and Tuner set backs we did manage to get a few runs in on the last night of the season.

    Car #69...:yahoo:

    Notes:

    - Due to a bad o2 sensor we weren't at 100% which caused high end breakup but we can promise an improved showing at the next opportunity of which we'll update this this post with.

    - Dyno sheet will also be posted here once we can squeeze into one of our sponsors Dynos schedules...:clapping::hat_tip::ford:

    Thnx @zfgracing

I'm also curious about this. My setup doesn't have factory tow package

Based on general engineering knowledge and a gear head to boot, I wouldn't even give a second thought to attempting a 4 Cyl gasoline engine tow trip of that capacity and would be reluctant with a tow package...of course unless it was a diesel...wish you well...?

So it appears the Mustang EcoBoost and several others have the same Ford part number for the throttle body as the Edge ST 2.7? From the info I gathered people are running the BBK Mustang Ecoboost TB on the Edge.

Are there any 70mm + options that are also compatible without modifications?

Haven't noted any mention on this forum.

Besides if your not Tuning the majority of engine Mods will not have a significant benefit until the Tune is modified to know it's there and tweaked to take full advantage of it...:victory:

Why does this require the fans to be adjusted?

It's not required but if your changing the T-Stat to run cooler then you should be aware that the fans & AGS operate in conjunction with that and to optimize your intent to run cooler you may want to consider adjusting the settings for the fans & AGS...:2thumbs:

Rather than making a new thread I thought I'd bump this one.

Has anyone tried filling the OEM motor mount with 3M window sealant or the like? Is the front motor mount too difficult to get at? In other FWD-based AWD platforms the front mount is usually the first to be replaced. I can tell the engine/drivetrain shifts back and forth a lot and could benefit from better mounts, however, its not a race care and is supposed to be a comfortable, quiet daily driver.

No one on FEF that we're aware of and if you did you'd first have to ID the Duro rating of the stock bushing and use an equivalent or else your wasting your time & money.

The front mount is fine for stock & so far for up to 500 whp and resonably easy to access for your average gear head.

So if your not interested in giving your Edge an Edge and the stock mounts are proving fine with higher performance then I'm not getting your concern...:banghead:

Still waiting on this and gain info....

"Note: Fitting to a stock or 2.5 exhaust system must be clarifed!!"

4 posts before this one will answer what's slowed things down.

However, Special_K has made several data point posts of what we've identified so far and more to come as we progress.

Note: This is a hobby for us, we both have full time careers...:hat_tip:

  8. For those that expressed concern and/or interest about the minor rear hit we took recently here are some Pics of what we found once the rear body panel was removed...absolutely nothing, GREAT for us but sucks for the Acura...:yahoo::happyfeet::hat_tip:

Should have the car back sometime this Wk then back to wrapping up the 93 Tune and on to the E?? whatever we can achieve Tune...:clapping::lurk::woot:

Yes, we're quite aware that we don't blur out the tag and that's because the few of you who can get to us should be able to get to us, go figure...:ford:

So far we have 3 people committed to buying the CNC Grill.  If we can get 3 more than we can tip toe into the 6 or more price range. I will use this post as a place to keep everything organized.

Member that are committed so far:

Hopefully we can get some traction!

Loving this setup, in general.  As another poster suggested, I would prefer to drop those resonators and the x-pipe for an all-in-one Magnaflow 12468. Full TBE with ceramic coated DP section, all 2.5" and T-304 SS.  Not sure you would even need muffler's or just pipes to the ground effects... depending on sound.  I didn't see the thickness they are using? .049 or .065? curious about that and weight. :) What kind of price for this full setup?

    .065 and idk weight.

You would have to contact Zury Fabrications for pricing...??

Contact Info & DP pricing is in this topic string

So this is what I got back from Zury when I asked him about making the cat back section:

Good morning, so we do everything custom to the car. We wouldn’t be able to produce and ship. If you are located close we can definitely do the this section but would need the vehicle. It wouldn’t require getting the downpipes/hiflo cats as well. I’m not too familiar with MRT exhausts, but whatever we make would be able to mate to current setup. If you have any further questions give us a call or text at 4435173810

Those were resonators provided by the customer.

Which sucks because I would love to have this section.

    Where are you located?

What year & model is your Edge?

If you live a reasonable distance I can help out by providing him with what he needs using my original parts & car if necessary.

So what is the price of this section and how do we order it? This is the Cat Back section correct?

I assume it will bolt up to the stock Cats section/down-pipes?

I bet this would sound awesome with the MRT Axle Back mufflers.

Yes that is the Cat back to the muffler section, contact Zury for the cost.

Many of us would probably appreciate a sound clip if you do this with the MRT mufflers.

The contact Info is 13-14 posts back from this one, Zury Fabrications...???

All great news to hear and echoing the apologies for minor fender bender. Glad to hear nothing critical was damaged.

How are you liking the sound from the DPs and exhaust? Did the break-in period open up a nice deeper tone?

We have no regrets with the DPs & exhaust.

The sound is progressively changing to a preferred tone due to the additional pressure from both the catless DPs & modified Turbos slowly blowing out the stock muffler.

It will be interesting to see where we end up Tune wise...lol

Snmjim and Special_K with all the companies and engineers out there one would think that they would of figured out a good High Performance intake for the G2 Edge Sport by now.... But Nooo.  It took you and your son to come up with the  answer :hat_tip:. I am so impressed with your design, build and skill set. So impessed that I decided to let the cat out of the bag and show what I built and have been running for the past few months.

In mho it would complement what you have accomplished and help create an entire system.

Even better yet having two sources to feed the beast. It should work better than stock even if only a small amount of air comes in from the fog punch out. You have eliminated the snorkel and that alone should be of value.

Not eliminated but more direct and at a greater volume...

There are two very different ecoboost engines- should we have separate forums for the 2.0 and 2.7?

My vote would be to do separate forums for each, this would simplify finding specific Info for that engine.

From past experience...its already hard enough digging out Info that's spread throughout various non relative threads...:hat_tip:
