  1. Check the manual to be sure you are using the correct amperage fuse, sounds like you are drawing too many amps for the fuse. If that is not the issue then you may have a bad electric motor in the seat that is drawing more amps than it is meant to. Good luck.
  2. The plug may be installed backwards, try unplugging it and rotating it 180 degrees and plug back in.
  3. Is the battery dead? try trickle charging it and see if it starts then.
  4. i changed the spark plugs on my '08 edge the other day with 115k miles and the valves looked similar to yours, just a brown varnish on them.
  5. Yeah no.......the water pump is internal to the engine, have to remove the pulleys, front cover, and timing chains to get the water pump out. A couple grand to have it done.
  6. Great writeup! I will be doing this next week on my 2008 Ford Edge with 115k miles on the clock and I can only assume the spark plugs are original (I bought it 3 years ago at 96k) Ill be swapping the intake gaskets and PCV valve too while im in there. Thanks for the 11 lb/ft torque spec it was hard to find on google.
  7. Great write up, did the job in a couple hours, I bought a Delphi brand pump and it makes a little more noise than the factory one did but just a slight hum. I did hear some bubbling/gurgling sounds for a moment after the swap while it was running, any idea what the cause might have been? Runs great at all speeds and has plenty of power.
