After installing the rear sway bar yesterday and getting a good look for setting up jack stands when needed I see the issue of using a standard floor jack and jack stands. Never had something that I could not use a Front and Rear brace jack from. Ok sway bar is installed. After a test drive it helped a lot with getting the handling a lot more neutral mostly mid corner to exit. Feel in entry it has helped keep the body roll down. The OEM bar with ends links and bracket on it weighs 11lbs. This new one weighs 17lbs before even adding anything in to it! The install was not too bad. For some reason the passenger side end link to the lower control arm was harder to get out then the drivers side. Only two complaints. The black paint is very thin and scratches easy. Just getting feeding it through the back I saw some good scratches. Not sure if this will cause easy rusting. Noticed these do not have the lateral locks that the OEM bars do to help prevent the bar for moving side to side. Thinking I might get these from whiteline. OK but if I jack at the pinch welds there is no room to place the jack stands on the pinch welds. That is what I am trying to figure out.

So to jack up rear you can use the rear diff and put the jack stands on the pinch weld location? I also got front end links. Where do I put the floor jack to jack up the front?

Looks like if I want to have my 2018 tuned I have to change out the thermostat to 170deg from the OEM. From reading it looks like a real pain as you have to remove the motor mount. I am a very visual learning I like to watch videos before I do a DIY. Having never worked on the Ecoboost motors yet I want to learn. When trying to search for a DIY video all I come up with how to do it on a F150's. Does anyone know a good video for how to do it on the Edge or other model that needs the same steps as the Edge? Thank you,

Wow this new swaybar is heavy! Endlinks should be delivered Friday. Hope to get this all installed Saturday. Also got new front end endlinks.

Wish you lived closer I would get these for a winter set of tires. Free bump at least.

Do these break easy? Wondering about ordering a set just to keep on hand.

Thanks, I just got my 2018 Edge this month and the engine is still 100% stock. Think I am going to keep it like that for a while. Only thing I might change out right now in the air filter and get a K&N. Reason I was thinking of doing a off the shelf tune for right now.

If I wanted to get in on this I would have to wait for them to enough people for later run? From reading though this post I am liking all the work that has been done on this.

I am new to Ford for tuning. Know I need something to upload the tune. That is the reason this caught my eye. I thought a new one comes with tunes on it for $400. If I got this I would have to buy tunes. Am I wrong with this thought?

Seems like all the sales for Mobil 1 5w-30 6qt's are done for $27.99. Got it twice for my Wife's 3.5 Ecoboost. If I would have known I was going to buy the Edge that last time I got oil I would have stocked up now that I have two engines using the same oil.

I am wondering the same. Not too sure how bad it is reaching the back plugs.

How hard is it to do the plugs with the 2.7?

This was a interesting read. I just bought a 2018 Sport. I like the install of the JLT can kit a lot. The current debate is if you need the oil for the valves and turbo? It has been shown that the Catch can does help reduce the build up in the intake valves?
