  1. In my wife's '11 Escape Limited, I ran the gamut of Sylvania bulbs. First I got Silverstars, then Silverstar Ultras, then Sylvania ZXE's, and now Sylvania ZXE Gold's. In my opinion the ZXE's were the best option. They weren't the real bright white I wanted, but were a vast improvement over the stock halogens.
  2. I traded a '17 Lincoln MKC in because I wanted a little more room. I ended up with my '19 Edge Titanium with a MSRP of $45,985.00. The new Lincoln Nautilus equipped would have been about $60,000.00. Unfortunately I had to settle for the Titanium. I really wanted the ST, but did not want 20" wheels, black interior, or a trailer hitch. I have the Ceramic interior, and would have bought a ST if the Ceramic interior was available. So far the 2.0 is adequate, but the 2.7 would have made it better.
  3. My '19 Titanium is only the 2.0, so I lean toward cosmetic changes. 1. Custom Wheels (done) 2. Tinted windows (Done 35%) 3. Probably a tune eventually
  4. Off subject but I wanted to comment on your hood. I'm thinking of doing the same thing to mine ala some of the jeeps I see. Think it looks good, and sets your ST apart from the crowd!
  5. 80K sounds pretty high. It all depends on the type of roads you travel. If in doubt, check it yourself. Just take out your filter and hold a light behind it. If you can see the light through the filter, then air can flow. If the light is blocked it's probably time to change your filter.
  6. Supposedly it does give you a few extra horses. I have noticed a little better throttle response and more turbo noise. Some folks claim a mileage increase, but I never checked mine.
  7. If you check the Mobil 1 oil rebate site, you can save a lot more. Latest offer is a $12.00 rebate on 5 qts of Mobil 1. (limit 10 qts). You can get a $17.00 rebate if you buy 5 qts plus a Mobil 1 filter (max 2). I've been doing this for 4 years now and have saved a lot of money. Site does not list Wall-Mart, but I've always gotten the rebate when buying the oil from them. Approx $26.00 for a 5 qt jug minus $12.00 rebate = under $3.00 per quart.
  8. I have a '19 Edge Titanium with the 2.0. I know I can't do a lot about the motor, but would like to improve the handling a little bit. Does anyone know a good source for rear sway bars, shock tower struts etc.
  9. If any of you folks are DIY'ers, and use Mobil 1 like myself, listen up. Mobil 1 has a great rebate going on right now. They usually do it every year, and I've been getting rebates for the last four years. Just look for Mobil 1 rebate on your computer to get the details.
  10. My '19 Metallic Blue Titanium is brand new. So far I put Chrome 18" Verde Mags on, Tinted both front door windows 35%, and replaced the license plate light bulbs with LED's. I also painted the brake calipers black, and cut back the inner tail pipes several inches for a cleaner look. K & N drop in air filter, and a changeover to Mobil 1 full synthetic oil will be next.

    Jealous!

Just want all you ST owners to know I'm very jealous. I really wanted the ST, but did not want 20" wheels, black interior, or a trailer hitch. I already had 18" chrome mag wheels, and Dunlop snow cars from my previous vehicle ('17 Lincoln MKC). I ended up buying a Metallic Blue Edge Titanium with the optional 18' wheels. The 2.0 is surprisingly peppy, but the 2.7 would have been much better. Best of luck to all you ST owners with your new vehicles.
  12. My name is Mike Haggerty. I'm 75, married, and live in Syracuse, NY. I'm a retired DAC (Dept. of the Army Civilian), and a retired MSG (E-8) from the Army Reserves. I currently drive a Metallic Blue '19 Edge Titanium 2.0. My wife has a '11 Ford Escape Limited 3.0 V-6. I've been in the maintenance field all my life, and still do my own oil changes etc. I also enjoy woodworking and gardening.
  13. Here's a picture of my '19 Edge Titanium with the 18" factory Pirellis & chrome Verde mags. I painted the brake calipers black for more contrast. This is my summer package. In the winter I'll run the factory wheels with Dunlop snow tires.
