I do know that the system is not updated daily. Your Ranger was built on 02/06/2007, so it could be on hold. However, the Ranger is a vehicle that isn't new and hasn't changed all that much recently, so I doubt it's a quality concern. But you never know, it's Ford, so anything can happen!!! My guess is that the system hasn't updated yet with the Gate Release date, and that it will ship soon if it hasn't already.

All is the same right now as my previous post. I'll check again tommorrow.

Spykeys, As far as the window sticker goes, I'm not positively sure, but I thought I heard you can't get the window sticker anymore. But you dealer should be able to get the invoice for you, at least for your first ranger that has already been built. As far shipping goes, sometimes the system is a little slow updating, so it could have shipped already.

I'm 6'3", and I have no issues with the height at all. I feel it's about the same as my wife's Escape, if that helps at all.

The system doesn't recognize the VIN# you supplied. Either your dealer hasn't submitted it yet, or it is a bad VIN#

It sounds to me that the only thing you do like about the Edge is the rear styling, and how often when you are driving a car do you see its rear end? Since you obviously aren't too fond of the Edge, pony up the cash and get an MKX. The aftermarket modifications you are speaking of seem like you would end up coming pretty close to breaking even. As far as an aftermarket grille for the Edge, I'm sure it won't be long before a few options are available and on the market. In my opinion, the rear end of the MKX is especially bad ass at night and really stands out.

My dad got an MKX a few weeks after I got my Edge. Styling is obviously the first thing you notice. The interior is also quite different. The MKX is quite plush and a little more refined with things like wood accents and a more seamless front control console. The gauges are a little blander though in my opinion. The Edge's interior is a little more sporty and modern. As far as features, the MKX has some nice options like heated and cooled front seats, heated rear seats and power lift gate, which is really cool. In my opinion, the Edge offers quite a bit for the money, and what the MKX offers doesn't justify the extra money. But that's just me!!!
