  1. Give it up. You're fighting a losing battle. You should know by now that you'll never win with him.
  2. I've used that in the past and it's really gotten me out of some jams. Had an Isuzu Trooper that I had the shop manual for. Changed the timing belt, but couldn't get it to run correctly afterwards. Reread the manual and reassembled the engine several times. After about a week, I purchased a subscription to Alldata.com and found out that a TSB had been released for this issue because the marks that were referenced in the manual for setting the timing were incorrect.
  3. I downloaded one that someone had posted about a while ago and found it to be quite detailed. Much better than any Haynes manuals I've had.
  4. I'll agree with the previous posts. I'd pass on this.
  5. Variable displacement is an automobile engine technology that allows the engine displacement to change, by deactivating cylinders, for improved fuel economy.
  6. No multiple displacement on the Edge. Sorry, he's correct.
  7. I like the look and think I'll be doing the same thing once I get back from vacation later this summer.
  8. You are correct. There is no difference.
  9. Thanks for the info! Be sure to let us know how it turns out.
  10. I've got the Sportwing side moulding installed on my Edge as well. I think it looks great and find it hard to believe that Ford didn't put something like that on the Edge in the first place. Without it, the doors are just a huge target for dings.
  11. I'd like to find me a pair of the Sport tailights as well!
  12. Isn't all that stuff gonna get in the way of your mattress?
  13. If this Edge is a rockin, don't come a knockin!
  14. Could this possibly be related to a separate post by a different user regarding a banging noise in the rear end of his Edge?
  15. No where does it say that it's the Ford Service manual, but I'm guessing it is. Pretty hard to believe that it could be any more comprehensive than this is.
  16. You'll never win with this guy, so you might as well give up and place him on ignore. :beatdeadhorse:
  17. Um, you do realize these are only $50 new, right?
  18. Depends on how the dealership is handling it. If they make you feel like it's a priority that they get you're vehicle fixed and are doing everything that they can, then I agree with you. But if you don't feel a sense of dedication or urgency on their part, thenlet the dealership have it!
