Get the clear bra its so much better. Plus you can do the door cups(to protect from fingernails and rings scratches) and rear bumper. plus you cant see it like thos ugly black ones. Did you get the BAMR i cant tell from that angle???

wow thats pricy are you sure it wasn a Z2 ??? we do the D3 Bluetooth steering wheel and either xm or sirius for $1500 installed at the local dealers.

No the info wont show up but you can use the factory antenna i did when i swapped to an aftermarket Navi.

As far as the PCM it is a pain to get the wire inside i have found the rear right wheel speed sensor wire inside and used that . It is right in front of the spare tire on the right side it is a brown wire . much easier to do . As far as the sterring wheel interface I will write up a detaled step by step later @ home and include a pic it fairly simple just a little time consuming.

You can also try a 5.6k resistor inline with the turn on lead. We do this on all the fords and never get that thump fromn the turn on. We have the resistors in a ATC fuse format s it makes for a real easy inline run with either 2 female spade connectors or 2 3m T-Taps.

Speaker wires can run with power wires. Its RCA's that you want to keep away from power wires. Also if you use good quality RCA's that are double or triple sheilded that will greatly reduce the risk of noise. I use Stinger Helix in all my installs a set of 4 by 17' run about $100 they are triple sheilded and are directional. There is a wick line on the deck side to pull in the noise and dump it on the deck end so it wont get amplified. The last resort to get rid of noise is Ground Loop Isolators as this will eliminate the noise but also rob rca level as well.

As far as the electrical it will be the same and the bolt pattern should also be the same only thing i would look closley at is the trim that attaches to the door on the outside but it as well should be the same.

Yes there is there both power the switch is with the roof open close . The only mistake ford made was that both the shades open @ the same time. They should have made them independent of each other.

Well for 25 years and well over a million miles on 20 + vehicles it never happened to me either . Since another has replied here and my local dealer said they had another person complain of the same thing, and they have heard from other local dealers of the same problem. So i am guessing it wasnt user error.

got a free wiring diagrams manual from the local dealer where we do a lot of installs for. let me know if anyone needs a specific wire & location but be paitent waiting for the response.

If anyone is upgrading to aftermarket and want to pull it to sell it . It is right by the spare just pull up the rear sill trim and it is right there.plus makes a tidy spot to put in your new tuner pack and use the factory antenna.
