we sell and stock them including the antenna adapter and sub harness if you have the subwoofer. -
i doubt the dealer will touch it saying they wont re-engineer ford parts. they dont want the liability

thats about it no noticable increase in power but at $42 for life it will pay for itself quickly even with the cleaning kits

Painting my dash....over the GLARE!!!
securinu replied to wthrower's topic in Interior, A.C., Heat, Interior Trim
We use Sem at our shop , you will need to remove from vehicle to do it properly. you need to scuff it with a scotch pad and then use an adhesion promoter similar to primer then paint . several light coats work best . if you do a heavy coat your gonna have runs . also make sure you use the adhesion promoter or it will bubble as well. -
it gets better with miles mine didnt get good mileage to over 5k miles. the new engines are so tight they need to really break in

Aftermarket Head Unit in 2008: SOOO Easy!
securinu replied to JC4ME's topic in Audio, Backup, Navigation & SYNC
Whats the toggle for anyways???? -
Also if you didnt use the brown white wire for horn output you can change it to a factory security rearm in the setting and use a relay to splitone of the 2 front door trigger wires. if your amps kill the battery in 3 minutes you need a different battery . Try Kinetik

no the windows dont roll up and i have yet to do window rollup yet as there is no room in the drivers boot to feed the driver wires . all the rest can be accesed in the driver kick. I need to get the front fender off to drill and run a new grommet for the door as there is no room to drill a new hole. As for 12 volts the best thing to do is run up to the battery since it is right there and if you pull the battery there is a huge grommet.

Mounting a Garmin Nuvi in an MKX?
securinu replied to tji's topic in Interior, A.C., Heat, Interior Trim
we sell the panavise mounts. they use screws behind the trim by the radio. -
sounds like a ground issue somewhere. electrical gremlins like that are usually due to bad grounds.

Pioneer Navigation/DVD System :(
securinu replied to sonyguy19's topic in Interior, A.C., Heat, Interior Trim
Well it seems everyone is confused. You dont need the ford harness or the $138 one either . We do these all day long. What you need it the Avic D3x which included bluetooth and ipod cable a dash kit and wiring harness from Best kits or metra. Its about a 50 minute install. if you want to get any of the above pm me for pricing . you could do your own install or we could wire it for you except for 2 outside wires which are very easy to get to. -
well you could alwyas add a wheel tilt sensor this time. I have one on mine and if it goes off the alarm actually only pages my remote . That way no alarm on car theives dont know + i go outside with my new Glock 22 and take care of business. It helps that i work with the Police Dept ( we have a bloodhound that is tracking trained and they get to use her) and i get away with stuff i probably shouldnt.

Pioneer AVIC D3 Installed :)
securinu replied to sonyguy19's topic in Interior, A.C., Heat, Interior Trim
first of all the gps antenna doesnt need to go outside it can go underneath the dash above the radio. I used the factory Sirius antenna for my XM Navtraffic tuner. If you dont have that option and you have the small antenna you can put it under the glass in the slide area on the driver or passenger side. I have pics of one we did at work someplace . if i find them i will post. i tried to remove the factory antenna and put it there like (GM) but there isnt enough room. -
