I find this "TUNE" difficult to believe. most of today's ecm/pcm are so advanced that they compensate automatically. just like some people live in the mountains and some at sea level the air is less the higher you go. We have mass air flow sensors that tell the computer what is on the way in. I dont buy it i bet a simple reset of the pcm battery disconnect will take care of it. I know when i put the K&n on my 5.9 durango r/t it made a huge difference. with no tune what so ever. Sounds like Snake oil to me.

the other benefit is all the wire is hidden inside the seat and has a plug in on the front if you want to use a game. That way no one kills themselves with wiring all over the floor like a rats nest.

I bet the harness is pinned wrong at the radio wouldnt be thr first time ive seen that . it will be in the 16 pin aux plug.

the a pillars are attached with a plastic tether that makes them a pita to remove just tuck it behind put the rubber back in place and go to headlight switch much easier to do

blue white is for mkx violet gray is for edge both are at headlight switch

white is bad go red

I pulled apart the driver window switch tonight and the child lockout has the capability to allow light thru but there is no led on the switch . i will work on this and post back.

I pulled apart the seat memory switch and it does not have back lighting and wont work as the switch is screenprinted and will not allow light to pass thru . The mkx switch is silver in color and wont match. I was going to try to swap the guts of the mkx switch to allow but tlike i stated earlier the switch is screenprinted and wont allow light to pass thru.

BAMR switch : Ground pin 1 to pin 14 this is the factory ground wire in a pin to pin 2 and run to the headlight switch to the violet /gray wire this is the dimmer controlled circuit

Ok I started this new thread to keep track of the edge switches that are not illuminated like the mkx

the radio is sub capable if it has the plug . sounds like you need to follow the wires down the pass sideboard and see if they are cut somewhere. or just grab both ends and do a continuity test with a dmm

if the radio has the connector than the sub will work as long as it is plugged in in the back as well.

the sub connecctor only has 4 wires , left right common and turn on @ 5 v

damn that blows , because the ford switch is screenprinted it does not allow light thru. I pulled the switch apart and put a light behind and the light doesnt come thru .

pulled off left end dash piece and was able to unplug wire right there then up the a pillar and over to center . i used actual ford contact that slid right in it was 15 minutes tops

Violet/gray in the edge at the headlight switch the gray is real hard to see so have a light handy .

also if you go with Myron & Davis or vizualogic it would play both dvd on either screen and also feed the game to both. the post are exact not the adjustable and the leather fabric is spot on match with the alternate color stitching.

why dont you wire them correctly to a switched source??? you can go to the ignition switch or the radio.

i was simply saying the way the service manual has it listed is all you can hook it to the mirror but they will be on all the time. its an led so it shouldnt matter but i ran it to the switch so it dimmed as i run with my lights about half dimmed just personal preference

but reading the service manual there is 8 wires on it and 8 wires on the mkx switch as well. the mkx has illumination circuit and runs about $50 according to the dealer. can someone with an mkx verify is the seat memory switch silver or black the dealer cant tell. also you will need to pull the wires from the pins and reconfigure the wires for the mkx switch as the positions are different

ok so no leds on the seat memory switch other than the one on the set button.

as for the memory seat switch it would need to be rewired looking at the schematic in order for it to function but just a matter of switching some pins . i will pull the switch apart to see if it has leds???

if they are hooked to the headlight switch like they are supposed to be they will be on and dim with the headlight and dimmer . unlike the door switches that are on all the time.
