Anybody get any great deals today? I lucked out at Best Buy. I went to pick up 3 Envision 22 inch LCD computer monitors - priced $149.00 each. They also had a 22 inch Samsung LCD for $199.00. When I got there, the Samsungs were also marked at $149.00 (BB screwed up). So I picked up three of them. Of course, the register scanned them at $199.00 but once I pointed out their sign pricing them at $149.00, they had to honor that price. Oh darn. These things are amazing. Maximum Resolution - 1680 x 1050. Aspect Ratio - 16:10. Response Time - 5 ms Anybody else luck out with anything?

I have an 07 - loaded except for the Nav, DVD and tow package. The only 2 things that would have interested me on the 08 was the power lift gate (once I heard it won't close via remote, I lost interest) and the Sync (a very good friend absolutely has an 08 with the Sync and loves it). I guess you just need to decide what options you want and which model appeals to you. I will say this though - the 07 lift "handle" is under the Ford emblem - not visible when looking at the back of the Edge. The 08 has a cut out below the license plate for the "handle." I like the clean look of the 07 myself.

They still haven't settled the Mayor and the hooker situation yet. She has all kinds of charges against her and is claiming some attorney said he could get the charges dropped if she cooperated. More drama..lol. The Commissary is awesome..their ribs are out of this world. East End...well, what can you say about the East End. Daly bought the East End Grill down in Olive Branch (next to Cherokee Valley Golf Club), changed the name to John Daly's Restaurant and Bar. He stopped by every night during the St. Jude Classic and bought rounds for everyone...from what I heard..it was way too wild. You are right. Cordova WAS in the county. Memphis annexed it a few years ago. None of us were happy about that. Huge revenue source coming into the Memphis and barely any of the benefits. Well, we do have city garbage collection. Whoo Hoo.

More thump? Definitely need an aftermarket set up.

Southwind? Oh yeah...nice. Only problem with both Southwind and Cordova is that neither one aren't solely in the county. I would dare say that the property tax revenue Memphis receives from Southwind and Cordova is probably 75% of the total for the entire city? Think that is pretty accurate sengland? ...hate taxes... ..wheels are made of wood.... LMAO!!!

It would have been if he said it in jest. In jest, I would have laughed too. Since he went back and edited it, we know it wasn't. I thought it was kind of funny that he assumed that I was a hillbilly solely by where I lived. That was funny. Plus, it gave me the opportunity to fire back with a few things. All is good. Life is short. He can think I'm a hillbilly. No worries. As long as my one special someone loves me, I'm a very happy camper.

I did mention the word "hillbilly" in one reply; but it wasn't to you - it was to CreamEDGE. As an aside (which by the way means: a message that departs from the main subject), I'm thinking you don't have much experience on message boards. You really need to take things a lot less serious. Go with the flow. Laugh with everyone else. But most importantly, don't be a schmuck.

Loaner was an 08; can't remember the color. I think some people are just more sensitive to things than others are. I really have to look for the reflection on my Edge. It was blindingly obvious on the loaner Escape. Others find it the opposite. Others don't see either. Could be dash color. Angle of the sun based on what state they are in. Outside temperature. Sensitivity of eyes. What their vision is... Oh well. TN is good...has been very, very good to me.
