Ok - I finally tried this today ( I have an old ipod I have been using). I didn't have to switch any settings on the phone except what I wanted to play - you just have the select the correct option on the car. I was able to do front, back, start, stop, and volume. I found where it says you can index your bluetooth devise but never could get it to start. discouraging to not even get track name or info displayed, but it works fine. Just kills your battery so I don't see that being something I will do often. I am curious to try Pandora later today. Turns out the app wasn't on my phone.

Yes, we took delivery the same week. Hope your issues are a simple fix or that a new module fixes them all.

Yeah - I hate the idea of jinx too - but the only problem I have is with subscription problems to Sirius which doesn't work in Alaska anyway so I don't really care. Other than that - nothing I would call problems.

27 degrees F tonight when I went to start the car - got in after a few minutes and heat was blowing full blast and the seat warmers were on.... love it! I am thinking that "freezing" might be the magic temp

It isn't an Ipod - don't expect it to work exactly like one.

From other threads this sounded like a known problem with a fix - you might want to check with the dealer anyway - till you upgrade.

Yeah- I have played with it some, but most of the time my hubby drives my lazy butt around (actually we work about 5 minutes apart so just car pool) so I told him about it and he had it on yesterday and told me it was way to distracting. He just wanted to watch it. Boys and their toys. He is really liking the new car too.

So - first official snow fall in my little town in Alaska happened last night which meant black ice driving this morning since Anchorage just got rain then freezing temps. (love winter) My stock 18's Michelin something or others handled great. I felt the AWD kick on at a couple of starts from red lights, but no weaving or swaying or in general not goingness. Did a couple of "break checks" on our neighborhood street since no one is up as early as we are, and it stopped great. Overall. Very happy. I am guessing the remote start will be used tonight before leaving work.

I was paying more attention this morning to the amount of pressure I was using - but I was able to apply a very light amount of pressure and have response. It probably lagged as much as when I press and hold a bit harder. Mine seems to work about how I truly expected -

6 cars in 8 years???? do you have a commitment problem? I try to keep a car 10 years - with 5 years financing - so we always end up with a car payment, but neither car is really that old. I haven't had a rust issue since I got away from subaru's. One was so bad that I had to disconnect the wind shield fluid tank because I got tired of having to keep kicking it back into the car each morning.

Awesome shots - that color looks so much better then it did on the ford website or the brochures I have seen. The really don't do their paint colors justice on the web.

There isn't actually a browser yet to go to the internet on the car - it makes a hot spot for your computer to work. Next year....

I have a PC that I sit in front of for 8 - 9 hours a day at work - I will just use that - or the gaming pc downstairs at home.

In Alaska the only rusty cars are old - even the newer Subaru's aren't rusting out their wheel wells anymore. I have never rust proofed a car. Sounds like a scam.
