mwenn1 Posted January 22, 2013 Report Share Posted January 22, 2013 Has anyone had an issue with the plastic pieces on the vista roof, not staying where they are supposed to. Lately mine have been sliding back with the roof when it opens then when I close it they get squished, or if I just vent the roof they come off the tracks and flap in the wind. Do I need new pieces, maybe clean the rails? I put them back on the rails as they are supposed to be but they just keep coming off. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

carbonedge+ Posted January 23, 2013 Report Share Posted January 23, 2013 I had the passenger side accordion style piece just fall out one day as I opened the roof. I was able to get it back in myself and it hasn't popped back out as of yet. Warranty was long gone so going to the dealer was not going to happen unless I just couldn't figure it out myself. There is a slight tab or indentation, IIRC, in the track it sits in; you may want to look closer at that and make sure yours is seated properly.
