Took my sport to the snow.

Recommended Posts

Call some local auto part places and asked on pricing on the TPM's 2 places asked if they were 315mHz or 433 mHz. How do I know what I have without taking the tire off the rim to see. I told them it was for a 2013 Ford Edge Sport with a 3.7L engine. Any help would be great as the wife is getting on my case about snow tire and rims.

Put your VIN in the below link, then check in the details of equipment, you'll find either 315 or 433.

Yes, that is the frequency your car uses for the TPMS sensors. I have a 2013 Edge and mine use the same 315 MHZ. I think that started being used with the 2011 models. I had not seen any with the 433 MHZ unless they just added that to the 2014 models, or are going to add it to the 2015 model.

You will be fine buying the 315 MHZ since that is what is listed for your VIN by the ETIS site.
