Haz Posted March 6, 2013 Report Share Posted March 6, 2013 Capt: I appreciate your observation and I am finding a different result. My vehicle's Battery Saver function shuts off the map light after 10 minutes, although opening a door reactivates the map light until the mechanical switch is cycled to OFF by pushing upward on the lens a second time -- as you describe -- or, another 10 minutes passes and the Battery Saver deactivates the map light once again.
