RJF25
Hey Everyone, The tires on my 2011 Edge Limited have about 45k on them and are starting to get really loud, which is starting to annoy me. I am thinking about getting new tires in the near future. I currently have the stock 245/60R18 Michelin Latitude Tour HP on there now. Just not a huge fan of them. So I figured I would throw it out there and see what people are replacing their tires with. Living in CT driving in snow is important and I do not run a dedicated snow tire. Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks, Ron
akirby
Check Tirerack.com for good comparisons including snow performance: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/surveyresults/surveydisplay.jsp?type=CSTAS&sortValue=0&tireSearch=true&showwp=N&showdp=N&showws=N&showcm=N

Before they got noisy what would you have liked for them to have done better for you? I have never been let down by a Michelin tire, but with that said I have not had that particular series of tire. RJF25
They were ok when I first got the truck. No real complains at first. I wish they had a little more traction in the snow at times...but last year we did get hit with a lot of snow. If it were not for the noise I would prob still be happy with them. Platinum White
I have Perelli Scorpion Verde's on for about 12K now and love them. To a certain extent I think "tire noise" is a function of the road surface. There are some roads with a coarse surface that will make any tire noisy. Drive the same tire on a road that has been ground smooth or a new asphalt and it will be very quiet. At least that is my experience with the Perelli Scorpion Verde's.
