  1. Has anyone actually had these clips causing the rattling problem? Does it happen to sound like a bracket that has come lose from one end and is tapping from vibration everyone once in a while because if so that is the noise I have right now and it is DRIVING ME CRAZY!!
  2. Test your battery, it may be bad. This was an issue in my wifes 2011 Explorer XLT and replacing the battery resolved the issue.
  3. If you are a Costco member go grab one of their group 65 batteries for $89.99. 850cca, 1000ca and 150 min reserve time.
  4. I'm not sure. It may be because they are 6K temp?
  5. Make me an offer. I will cover shipping in the CONUS. They were used for about 10 months, sold the car.
  6. I'll take the DDM items. Please email me at mrgolfrider@gmail.com with how you would like to be paid. Thanks!! Matt
  7. Don't forget that to keep a nice "shiney" "Clean" "Dressed" look you need to make sure and clean the tire very well first.
  8. So I took 3D/HD up on their offer again. I splurged this time and went with Nitro Seal. I wanted to try this product because of all the positive feedback I have read on Facebook. I like the way they packaged this product, it makes you feel like you are getting more of a deal for what you paid. I know the items that are included are easily acquired, but it is nice that it comes with everything you need. The only thing I would change is what type of container the A and B products are bottled in. After reading a few reviews I decided to transfer the contents of both to small plastic bottles with dropper tips on them. I think that kept me from using too much, but apparently I still did but we will come back to that later. This morning I prepped the car for polishing with a strong mix of W99 and CG CWC in my foam canon that was left to dwell while I got my wash bucket ready with DG901. Car was rinsed and then dried off with my Vac n Blo and a waffle weave towel. I used my Rupes 15 and some Speed with B&S MFFP and in a few spots I needed FG400 and a B&S MFCP. The reason for the polishing today was to correct some nasty swirls/marring from the body guy that fixed my drivers side doors from a hit and run we had back in 11'. The MFFP and and Speed did a really good job of cleaning up all the swirls. I continued around the car with the MFFP and Speed with just a few quick passes to amp up the gloss. The rest of the car was still 95% perfect from the proper wash techniques that I have used since the car was new. After transferring the A and B parts to the different bottles I started with the application of part A using the supplied black foam pad. It went on in a way that reminded me of Opti-Seal. Right after completing the A step I went directly to the B step using a red wax applicator and my GG3". I used the GG because of a recommendation from Fech. He said it would help it go on really thin. After using the 3" GG I think I may have been better off using the 6" because I really didn't care for that red wax applicator that was supplied with the 3". So earlier I mentioned that I may have used too much, well when trying to remove the combo I encountered quite a few high spots. After chatting with David Fermani it was determined that I used way too much of both product. I was able to knock down all the high spots after finding the right towel. I only have two pictures to share which are immediately after removal of the product. These two pictures were taken with my SGSIII so they don't really capture how glossy it looks in person. I will revisit in a few days after it has fully cured and I will try my best to take those pictures with my T3i. I always tend to put more then needed when it comes to products like this. I honestly feel like I have enough remaining to do two more cars so I should be able to refine my process with this product by the 2nd car. I cannot comment on whether or not I am happy with this product yet. I will give my final comments after it is given the 48 hours to fully cure. Until then, thanks for looking at my review of the free product I was given for doing this review. I will have pictures soon when I do this same process to the wifes 11' Edge SE.
  9. I thought three chirps was because of the rear hatch being open...
  10. I guess you missed this part of his OP akirby. What are you not a huge fan of? Before they got noisy what would you have liked for them to have done better for you? I have never been let down by a Michelin tire, but with that said I have not had that particular series of tire.
  11. What do you not like about your current tires?
  12. Will that be the same shipping to the US?
  13. Any way to know if they would fit on the 11' + models? What brand?
  14. What is the biggest difference in the V1 and V2? They look alike from the website. Is it because of the amber turn signals in the V2s?
  15. This is my brief yet honest review of Towel Kleen. This was the second item I received for review as part of HD's product promotion. I want to preface this review by saying that I am just a weekend detailing enthusiast. I may actually detail a car once a month if I am lucky. My cars stay clean so it is hard to build up enough towels to justify a wash. My first go with TK was washing some all purpose towels that I used for a Sequoia that I did an interior job on. I used HD Carpet and Upholstery in that truck along with 1Z Deep Plastic to get rid of all the nastiness. I think my load was about 25 towels for that truck. I used the 2oz that the bottle recommended. The towels did come out nice and clean with some of the staining remaining on the white terry cloth towels that were used when cleaning the carpets. I did not allow the towels to soak in the washer before washing so maybe that would have helped. The towels did feel very soft after washing. My 2nd go around with TK was when I washed all my glass cleaning towels. I use a mix of blue surgical huck towels and green glass towels from DD. I wanted to wash all the towels regardless if they were dirty because I wanted to make sure they were really clean from the last wash. I had noticed the windows were not coming out streak free and I hadn't changed anything in my routine. The towels once again came out very soft after washing with TK and the windows went back to being streak free after using a couple this weekend on our cars. Did TK contribute to that, I'm not sure but that was the only thing that changed. I have only really used Tide free when washing my microfibers. Since I do not wash a whole lot of towels it is hard for me to try different soaps without have a lot sitting on the shelves. In closing I cannot say whether or not I would buy this again. The only thing that would possibly stop me is the shipping. It does a good job and the price is right for the gallon, but shipping really ruins it for me. I would suggest others to buy it if they were able to get it shipped to them for the same price as lets say CG MF wash.
  16. I have the DDMtuning 9006 5K kit in our 11' Edge SE and I am very happy with them. I did have to buy some capacitors to stop the flickering, but that was almost expected considering the vehicle came with halogen bulbs.
  17. I still have these available. $50 shipped anywhere in CONUS.
  18. I have had our DDM 9006 set in for almost a week now and couldn't be happier. I went with the 35W 5k. I did have to buy anti flicker capacitors after the fact but all is well now. It took a few times getting the bulb in the housing properly so that there wasn't a shadow.
  19. Was it as simple as drilling through the middle of the support bracket? I love the look of our Edge without the damn from license plate.
