Hi guys!

This forum is awsome... great info! Reading a lot here since I got my 2012 Edge Limited AWD last year...

But theres is 2 thing that bugs me, and its been doing this for about a month...

was wondering if you have any inputs for me...

The wheel clicks only happens when turning right... and goes away slowly after about 1 hour of driving... but since 90% of my driving is sub 30 min, I always hear it...

Whiining noise is mostly there when its sub -10c, and takes a long time to fade out.... about 2 hours of driving...

Any clue/hint?

Tx a lot for any feedback..

Sounds like it's on the inside of the car. Simple fix I think. Grab wd40. Stick you head under the dash. Spray on all the u joints or joints that are on the steering column. Which ever ones you see. . Spray. See if that gets rid of it. It goes away after a few minutes because it warms up. So material expands. What ever is clicking, tightens up.

+1 for the power steering fluid level causing the whining noise. You may find that the interior noise goes away after you top off the fluid level.

If the PS reservir is full, a PS hose could also be kinked somewhere, I've seen that before too.

The only downside of the repair will be the muscle atrophy in your arms without the Armstrong steering.

Lol... You guys are funny!

First of all THANKS! for all the quick replies... very appreciated....

1st problem is solve... Indeed the Power steering fuild gauge was a bit low when car is stopped...after a little run to recheck the noise, opening this would show me oil with bubbles in it.. so yes, the pump was pumping air due to a low fluid level.. that was the noise... I feel a bit stupid to not figure this out by myself.. But I'm a geek and work in the video game industry.. ;) my mechanic skills are kinda low... hehe.. I learned here.... I will defeniletly monitor this over the next month is levels goes down again: leak...

As for the creaking noise... I would try to spray a lubricant under it.. but also concerned that there is an air bag near, and my vehicule is still under ford warranty, so I would probably just have a visit to my nearest dealer to be safe...

Thanks again !!
