Shadrack
I personally have not seen how either setup is made, but I got to thinking since I have seen a few take-off sets from Brembo equipped Mustangs on other forums at a much reasonable price. I wonder if the mounting of caliper is similar on the Edge to the Mustang. If it is, couldn't Edge owners buy bigger Mustang rotors/calipers and upgrade with minimal modification?? What do you all think?
akirby
Theoretically. But since those are two totally different platforms you'd have to find someone who has done it already or try it yourself to see.
jwallace410
Just curious but looking on some parts websites I seen dual piston calipers for the edge sport, and was wondering if they come stock on the sports or if its an upgrade. The second question would be if the sport has dual piston calipers how hard would it be to pit them on an edge limited? Afterall most brembo kits for these vehicles are 2 piston calipers, pads, drilled high quality rotors and braaided steel lines right. All of which can be had for way under 3,000+ bucks
omar302
Edge Sport brakes are the same as regular Edges. Only in some years, don't remember which, some FWD Edges had smaller front brakes.
