bronconut
Sorry if this has been covered many times. i have searched the forum and not found what i am looking for. i have recently purchased a 2008 Edge limited AWD. The dash display shows "Check Park Aid" and will not clear unless i hit the reset button. i have braced the car, engine off, key in on position, and listened to the sensors in the back. from what i can tell all four are sending echo request. i tried this with the engine running i have tried just can not hear. Not sure if this is because of engine exhaust noise and bad hearing or what. either way i am not hearing any alerts inside the car. Thanks, Shane
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Try disconnecting the negative battery cable for 40 minutes or more then reconnecting. Let's see if that resets the parking aid module. Hopefully easy as that. How old is the battery in your Edge? I would check not only voltage with everything off, but CCAs as well, just in case it is causing electrical gremlins.

akirby
Negative cable It's really hard to get to. I disconnect the positive terminal but I'm really careful not to let it touch anything.
