Are you trying to find out where an ordered car is in the process of being scheduled/manufactured/delivered? If that is the case, you will need to be patient. If you had read the previous posts in the Blue Oval Forums ("Vehicle Locator by Ford Employees"), you would have seen that the Ford Employee (ViperPilot) who does the bulk of the VIN checks is on vacation. I believe he is out from 7/20 until 8/4. When he comes back, he will catch up with the requests. Unless someone else here has access to the order database, you will need to wait. I apologize in advance and just ignore what I stated above if you are looking for some other sort of VIN information. Either way, I hope your wait is a short one. Grey Posted August 6, 2008 Report Share Posted August 6, 2008 Any Ford or L/M service department can run an "OASIS" on your vin. If you have a concern, they can code it into the request and any tsb's or service notifications that cover thast area of concern will also be noted on the OASIS report. Ford or dealership personnel can do the reports but don't expect to call a dealership and request one - go by and ask. Van G Posted March 27, 2010 Report Share Posted March 27, 2010 I searched but couldn't find the thread on BlueOval : Vehicle Locator by Ford Employees Just ordered an Edge and dealer informed me that one of their orders was cancelled so we jumped into that spot. Supposedly we're in March production instead of April. Wondering if I can find out the accuracy of this and if the early to mid April delivery is realistic.
