This is not to be confused with FordPass or Sync Connect. Ford is only discontinuing the SmartLink OBD modem program which allows you to have to have remote access to your vehicle. Unfortunately it was marketed poorly nor implemented properly. It will be interesting to see what pricing plans are be offered after the 5 year Sync Connect introductory offer expires.
