They are fitted as standard on all European models, so can often be found second-hand on fleabay (e.g. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/265114496620?fits=Car+Make%3AFord|Model%3AEdge&epid=703807846&hash=item3dba0e2e6c:g:jvUAAOSwV8Fgasr5). Not sure whether you'd need to pay import duty or something though if buying from the US.

New pattern lamps are also available but couldn't vouch for how good they'd be.

Check this thread. The Euro foglight will not fit in the US Edge without changing the steel bumper.

The OP in that thread I think had a 2015 model, so there might be a chance that the steel bumper was changed later, but I can't find out. I know for my 2016 Edge, which is a Middle East (GCC) version it is mostly similar to a US model but has the Euro bumper with the holes for the tow hook.

Thanks for the replies. Looks like a big hassle to do this. I was hoping since there is a place in the bumper for fog lights that I could buy some and pop our the plastic insert that's there now and pop in the fog lights, and hoping they were pre-wired from the factory. Guess I'm not that lucky. Maybe someone else will reply with a simpler solution.

Why do Ford do that I wonder?

You'd think it would be really simple to put one of these:
