U3000-49 and U0401-68 code fix - replace battery

Just jotting this one down in case this happens to anyone else. Last week I started my car and after 30 seconds had the traction control lights and ABS light come on with the warning chimes. Got notes to "Service AdvanceTrac" and saw that traction control was turned off.  Codes were pulled -> U0401-68 and U3000-49 . U0401-68 - Invalid data received from ECM/PCM. U3000-49 - Control Module - Internal Electric Failures. Quick research told me this might be a broken PCIM or maybe a worn out or dirty wheel sensor. Saw on a Ford Focus forum that an old battery might not be sending a full or steady current to the computer. This last one was the easiest to check, and sure enough,  the battery was bad. Replaced the battery, cleared the codes and have not had any problems in the last week.
